Jesus.

Dave Whelan attempting to take the pressure off Malky Mackay by being an equally intolerable racist prick.

Dave Whelan is a right bell end as is Malky, perfect match really.

Always thought Whelan was a bellend.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United have retracted their offer to Ched Evans to use their training facilities.

Evans will go abroad to resurrect his career, where his poisonous tag hasn't been heard. He'll pop up in Greece or Spain's Second Division or something.

I have always liked Whelan and thought he was alright but he really has gone wrong here I don't think appointing Mackay has helped him at all as if he defends him he's as bad and if he doesn't defend him he's already not behind his manager so although Mackay is a good manager I don't understand appointing him at this time. But obviously there is no excuse for what he said.

Well, neither side can say they got the worse side of a dreadful referee. Wednesday will argue - quite rightly - that they should have had a penalty in the dying seconds. We will argue that Wednesday were very lucky to have all their players on the field after a series of assaults by Stevie May on our goalkeeper and their captain decided it would be a bright idea to, after a blatant body-check which rightly earned a booking, boot the ball 40 yards towards the touchline. Draw probably about fair. Though quite when Bronn from Game of Thrones started playing for Wednesday I do not know.

The second "assault" on your keeper was a load of bollocks. May tried to pull up and stop, your keeper leaned in towards him, flipped him then got up and tried to blame him!

Great win for us today puts us into the play offs! 2 points off 2nd place! We played poorly first half they were not much better but they scored a goal off a corner which should have been cleared. Steele also made a great save tipping one over when it was hitting the top corner. Second half we really pressed and Rhodes forced a mistake from Silvestri and tapped into an empty net. Marshall then drilled one across the face for us and on the counter attack they hit the post which could have changed the game. Cairney was then sent off for 2 yellows both late tackles and we went on the defensive but Varney picked it up and fell over in the area but the ref gave a pen it was a clear dive but Rhodes sent the keeper the wrong way for his 2nd of the game

Well happy with that result today, best I've felt walking away from Ewood for ages. Leeds can boast about bringing 7k to Ewood every year if they like, they're never gonna get a result here

Tough game at Boro next week, but we haven't lost in 8 so should be going there confident, let's hope we can get a good result.

That was the third. First half made a poor one (probably entitled to go for it, to be fair, but the ref should still have booked him for a poor challenge), second half left a very deliberate foot in, and third one Murphy had had enough of getting sod all protection. May had ten minutes to slow down and didn't. Good, commanding goalkeeping, and he had every right to be unhappy with the player and the referee who hadn't given either free-kick at that point.

Also, I retract my statement about it being a nailed-on penalty. Ref got it absolutely spot on (though in real-time, I really thought it was a stick-on, and Lynch still got lucky):

Awful match, Chris Powell has got Huddersfield playing like he did with Charlton, alot of moaning and rolling around, anti football crap. It wasn't a penalty, Maguire is a full on diving dick, Stevie May was entitled to go for everyone ball with Murphy. We'll not score another goal this year.

Hmm I think Flitcroft is in trouble big time here. With all the pressure from above and the squad he has he can't last much longer if we play like we did against Dagenham today

I went away to Middlesbrough today and what a great point for us! They dominated the game but Eastwood in net as Steele couldn't play against his parent club but Eastwood was amazing making some great saves one a worldie off a header off a cross and he deserved the luck when he fumbled one in the first half. He was unlucky to be beaten by a deflected shot but they deserved to be ahead. We got a late corner last seconds and Brown and Duffy both went up and it looked like a clear foul on the keeper but Gestede smashed in the loose ball, all 11 players celebrated in front of out fans as we went mental! Mark Clattenberg who was reffing the game didn't have his best day.. Karanka was sent off for pushing the fourth official and one of their fans had a altercation with Gestede. Overall a great finish

What a shit day. We had a billion chances but couldn't score after our opener, the linesman must've had a nervous twitch because he was flagging for offside all the bastard time even when our striker bent his run to perfection, the referee decided that their winger fouling our right back deserved a free kick to York and a booking for our full back, they scored from the result of that totally legit free kick in the 4th minute of three minutes added on injury time.

Having seen it, there's no way that should be given as a foul on the keeper. It's a collision between two players going for the ball, nothing more. If the keeper is a defender no one bats an eye at that collision, but because it's the keeper he gets special privileges about no one being allowed to breathe in his vicinity. Karanka has no grounds to complain whatsoever.

Poor result for us today at Bolton. Disappointing in front of goal again. We seem to go through gluts where we score freely when have droughts. More worrying is that both Lynch and Scannell came off injured. Brentford (and their five-match winning streak) next up.

First I've heard of that, what happened? Boro can feck off, get in Rudy!

Hope we get another controversial late goal against them at the end of December, preferably a winner right in front of their fans.

Yeah fair point maybe a foul on the defender though as Duffy is climbing on. Karanka did go very over the top with his argument though.

Not definitely sure. It looked like a fan said something to him and he reacted badly and Williamson and Tunnicliffe ran over to the stewards like to know what was said though. Someone on Facebook said it was racist and a monkey gesture but not sure about that.

Ha ha that would be brilliant!

It's a really, really complex situation we're in now but I try my best to analyze it for you. First I have to stress than none of our defeats, bar Shrewsbury away where we've been just shocking, was down to us being complete shit. In recent times we were dominating but just couldn't finish our opponents off. This is mainly down to our two top strikers, Ryan Lowe and Daniel Nardiello being quite injury prone but we expected that with Loew being 36 already. As a result, others had to step up but Danny Rose lost his form after a good start and so Flickers brough tin some loan signings. First one, Anthony Duffus from Everton was a complete donkey and literally offered nothing. Second Hallam Hope, is a good player but clearly nowhere near match fit so as nothing to offer yet, so we have to play Lowe and Naridello suffering from small knocks sometims which is obviously not helpful.

Second, and this is the real problem, the goalkeeping position. Flitcroft brought in Shwan Jalal as new number one, made some good games and was quite popular until he got injured. When injured, Flitcroft put Robert Lainton in goal and after a few dodgy spells was quite good until DF suddenly dropped him again for Jalal. "Competition for places" was how Flitcroft called it. Then after a few games with Jalal, he brought in Scott Loach on loan but he was quite shaky in his only two games and was sent back with a small "knock" and put Lainton back in goal who unsurprisingly was a bit dodgy on Saturday, so knows maybe he'll bring in Jalal again for the next game.

Third, and this is the point which kind of realtes to my second point, our defence. Who are you actually gonna have confidence in your defence when you're constantly changing the goalkeepers? And when one of our defenders loses his confidence Flitcroft immediately drops him and brings in more folk like Kennedy, Kelly and recently Adam El-Abd

These are the defending set-ups in our last six league games (right to left):
Shrewsbury away: (Lainton) Cameron - Mills - McNulty
Southend away: (Lainton) Cameron - Mills - McNulty - Kennedy
Cambridge home: (Lainton) Jones - Cameron - Mills - McNulty
Morecambe away: (Loach) Cameron - Mills - McNulty - Hussey
Newport home: (Loach) White - Cameron - McNulty - Hussey
Dagenham home: (Lainton) Cameron - El-Abd - Milsom

Always changes, never the same line-up or the same formation. This is confusing for the players and leads to lost confidence and therefore fuck-ups in our defence which leads to silly goals.

As you can see, the problems lie deep inside Flickers' skills of man management and his lack of trust in our players
