Honestly, if i had to pick my favourite style i think those would still be #1, but time moves on and those are consigned to history i'm afraid.

Reason I ask, it seems I have the wrong logo for the Vanarama Conference Leagues, I have the old Skrill logo

I hit this problem on linux. After playing about with it for a while it looks like if there are two folders it will only look in the one which is lower-case.

I fixed this with a quick script to move everything in to the lower-case directory. Went something like this:


cd ~/Documents/Sports\ Interactive/Football\ Manager\ 2015/graphics/pictures/logos/
find Metallic\ Logos -type d -printf "DIR=\"%p\" && mkdir -p \"\${DIR,,}\"\n" | bash
find Metallic\ Logos -type f -printf "FILE=\"%p\" && mv \"\$FILE\" \"\${FILE,,}\"\n" | bash

After running this the logos started to show up correctly in all cases I could find. YMMV/no promises etc, but it worked for me.

Because this has moved files around you would need to run it again as/when you obtain updates.

If you want I can rezip the directory now that it's all in lower case and upload it somewhere for you to pull down.

In general with filesystems which aren't case-sensitive they will create directories and files in the case that is given but when updating they will retain whatever case they started with. So attempting to update the files and directories won't get you anywhere (even though on some operating systems it looks like it has worked).

As always the packs are brilliant, Kremmen. However I am going to be an annoying c**t and ask the same kind of question everyone else has, as for some reason with this edition and the current setup I really can't get the graphics to work properly nor can I get my head around any of the work arounds. So I apologise for being an incompetent idiot in advance.

But basically I have no idea how to get rid of the default SI flags on the nations screen, regardless of the workarounds posted, I understand that you can no longer have bother the national flags and national FA logos showing, I've grasped that part, however say I want to just show the national flags, on the overview page, the info page, the player profile page and as the small logo, how do I go about doing this, as whatever I do I seem to get the default flags or the national logos and flags completely mixed up, when all I want is just the metallic flags to show everywhere! Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, none of my ranting is aimed ar any singular person, but I am at my wits end trying to figure out how not to get this to work - I simply copy/pasted my entire old folder into FM15 and it worked perfectly with the configs already done. Basically, here's how to figure things out

If you open up the configs in the normal folder inside either the flag or metallic logo\nation folder you will see both have the lines nation\logo in there - looks like this

<record from="africa/alg" to="graphics/pictures/nation/5/logo"/>

in the flag folder and then in the nation\logo folder it looks like this

<record from="5" to="graphics/pictures/nation/5/logo"/>

The same you see - both direct the config to display the logo of Algeria from either the flag or nation folder - It can only do one though, so you have to decide which one to see by disabling the config which you do not want to see - the game will still pick up the flags for any other purpose so that remains unchanged.

The really important thing through is to disable the config in the flag\medium folder - without doing that the logos will remain invisible due to the team config inside the game fmf file which is why there is now a nations2 folder - dont ask, just trust me that it all works if you do things correctly - I would not sell you a bum steer.

If, however, you want the Metallic flags to show everywhere like NG wants then simply disable the logos\nations\normal config by renaming that config to config_off,bak whatever and having it look like this

So everything is now cool huh? - wrong, because now if you go to the Gibraltar team screen you get this

so, ignoring the world gurning champ there now it's just a matter of renaming the normal2 config and everything should be back to normal yes?

So you see the dilemma - there's no way that it all works 100%, you really do have to figure out exactly which way you want it to be or just use the SI team logo config which i tried and everyone hated.

The link to the 2015.2 update is being blocked by my AV as malware. Is this a known false-positive or is anyone else seeing this?

As you see, Update 2 is now live with over 1100 new and updated club, national, and competition logos as well as new default logos and styles. Not all the latest ones will be in the pack so bear that in mind, but I can only do what I can in the time that i have so there's always next time anyway.

Install by extracting the file to your Docs\Sports Interactive folder and overwrite when prompted.

Thanks as always to everyone who has posted or sent in logos, as well as the guys (and gals?) over at VFLnet, BOTW, and scudettitalia for a lot of the content this time around.
