Disappointing in the end. So many easy chances wasted and Lloris playing well. Baffling substitutions.

Nine games unbeaten though.

Flamini & Coquelin starting in midfield together.

What a time to be alive

John Terry - just as good as he was ten years ago.

Players clearly dead on their feet by the end of the game. Will be repeated up and done the country today.

Disappointing that the paying punter is being shafted on quality because the broadcasters want to shove as much football on TV as possible over this period.

In our game.

The second half was absolutely dross because of how much football is played over this period. It's ridiculous when theres clearly enough time to schedule it better but we jam so much football into a week for pretty much no reason.

Well maybe Van Gaal should have changed a couple of players rather than keeping the same eleven and it has nothing to do with TV as there has always been more games at Christmas. There are shite matches all season that have nothing to do with tiredness and seeing as Utd are playing a lot less games than the other big sides this year its not an excuse they can use imo.

It has everything to do with TV.

And two games in under 48 hours is ridiculous regardless of the rest of the season. That's not at all relevant.

The timing throughout the day is for TV yes but the busy period isn't anything to do with it what so ever.

Its the same for everyone so i really don't get why some people cry about it, in fact it only seems to be the foreigners that come over here that complain the most, as if its only been brought in this season or something.

If you genuinely believe that then you're incredibly naive.

Sky/BT would lose money if the fixture list ran as normal/we had a winter break. That's the reason it is the way it is.

And it is the same for everyone, so surely a better schedule where every team benefits makes much more sense?

You do realise that once upon a time you was lucky to get one game on TV, long before the days of Sky yet there was still a lot of games at Christmas and New Year.

Well basically yes as like i said its only really the overseas players/managers that complain and overall the fans absolutely love this time of year too.

Woah, I don't know where you got that from, but before that escalates I'll elaborate.

We didn't win because our finishing was shit.

Tottenham were as affected by the schedule as us. Not claiming the fixture list was the reason we didn't win, saying its the reason both teams looked knackered in the second half.

To be honest I do love all this football in such a short space of time.

But it makes no sense as far as the teams are concerned.

Well yeah, and everyones been saying its ludacris and stupid for years, too.

There's been 7 goals in 8 games today. Compared to a league average of 2.6, it doesn't benefit the league in anyway. It's boring.
