Turns into even worse month
Disappointed with Stoke lost as we was better side, but Stoke only has 2 shots on target which saw us crash out.
Another lost in a row, this time against West Brom
Decided to go for 4-1-2-2-1 formation against Bilbao and we got a respectable draw in the end.
In first half we was playing well against Chelsea and holding them a draw at half time and second half Chelsea ran away with 3 points
Finally a win in November, a 3-0 win over Watford. also switched back to 4-2-3-1 formation, Gave KJH his start and he put us in front on 8th minutes with an strike just outside 6 yards box, smashing Matt Jarvis's cross into the net. Thomsen doubled our lead on stroke of half time with a strike inside the box after good passing between Honda and Jarvis to put him through to score.
An own goal from Angella finished the game off.
We travel to Russia for our game which we only need a point to qualify for next round. We actually played in minus 6
Just hope we can do better in December...

Too many draws
Started the month with a 2-2 draw at Norwich. Disappointed as we was heading for a win until captain for the day, Rúben Neves, tripped up their player on 86th minutes to let them get a draw
Superb win over Leicester
A respectable draw against Stoke. We went behind on 33rd minutes as Paul Anton just walked past our defence to score. Fischer got us a point on 49th minutes, after Shawcross failed to head Murphy cross away which Fischer slammed it home to get us a point.
Shitty performance from the players as usual. We was 0-0 at half time and all of sudden they battered us in second half.
Fair result against Newcastle even we was crap. Lennon put us in front with a close range header on 14th minutes. Their goal came through on 73rd minutes through Ayoze, after Mirin didn't close him down enough which Ayoze took his time to score.
Disappointed not to beat Spurs even we got a late penalty against them. Clemente got us in front with an header from Fischer's cross. 8 minutes later we conceded with Lamela score an tap in after Vida didn't head the ball away. All of sudden we went behind on 61st minutes after Leali, parried Lamela's free kick into Fazio's direction to put them in front. We was awarded a penalty on 86th minutes after Fischer got clattered in the penalty box by Spurs's Fernando which Sigurðsson smashed it into top corner to finish the game with a draw.
Wayne Rooney got a hat trick against us which we made it too easy for him. Rooney scored his first goal on 16th minutes with an tap in. They was awarded a penalty after Widmer tripped up one of their player to give away a penalty on 31st minutes. 8 minutes later, Jon Aurtenetxe gave away another penalty with him tripped up Mata ffs. Second half was borefest and nothing to report.
The players are starting to taking the fucking piss now. Went back to our 4-4-1-1 formation which seems we was playing better. We went 2-0 up thanks to Sigurðsson and Clemente scoring. Everton pulled one back on 62nd minutes with a mistake from Widmer (again!!) let Barkley tap in. Matt Jarvis's goal put us out of sight with a strike from 10 meters. Kevin Mirallas put them a goal behind with a close range header. then BANG, a mistake from Jon Aurtenetxe gifted Mertens the goal to level the game for them. Fucking raging. After the game, received the news that Widmer is out for 4-5 months with a broken foot, I'm happy after pish performance from him past 2 games.

No surprise to see Sporting CP ran away in the end, by only conceding 2 goals

Happy we manage to make it to next round in Europa League.
Disappointed with our draws which if we did win, we would have been in the mix in top 4. Just hope we can turn it around in January.

Board gave me a choice to change our season expectations. I have went for top half finish as I don't think we're ready to challenging for Europa League yet.
I don't think we will be spending the money, unless a ridiculously insane regen popped up.
I won't be signing a striker as we still got Bade to join up in the summer, Paul Hassan is having a good season with Swansea (just won young player of the month for December) and will be in first team next season.

Brought him in from Barcelona. Looks mentally solid and hopefully he can shore up our left hand side.
I did have a chance to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal for 8M plus 150K p/w but decided not to in the end as Murphy is playing well and got Lennon as back up. He's out of contract at the end of the season but I might go back for him.
Might look at regens for back up for LB/RB/AMC/LW/ST just to add depth.

Have managed to bring in 2 players during transfers window.
Decided to bring in for depth on the right. I did attempt to get him on cheap future fee but they came back saying they want 28M for him
Scout picked him up while scouting Dutch U's19 leagues, I managed to beat Monaco to sign him up. Sent back to Sparta on loan for the rest of the season.
Beat top clubs( Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Monaco, PSG) to pre sign this guy in the summer. Very promising youngster. I actually has a chance to sign him but they wanted 9M for him so I left it til news popped up saying his contract was expiring, so went back for him. But shame about his hair

Almost perfect month for us
Kicked off new year with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa. We went behind on 44th minutes after Suso beat Leali who somehow decided to come rushing out to catch one of their cross which Suso nipped in before him to score ffs. Handed Cabeção his first start since coming back from Brazil, which he got us the goal to level the game on 51st minutes. Heading in Tripper's cross. Last 10 minutes, i decided to switch to overload mentality to try and get a winner. Which paid off in the end with Fischer getting us the winner in injury time after Thomsen chipped it over the defence which Fischer ran onto to smash it into bottom corner to give us 3 points.
Good performance from us see us beat Crystal Palace. An brace from Sigurðsson and goal from Fischer.
We completely battered Fulham. Clemente got us the lead on 11th minutes with a close range header. We was awarded a penalty on 25th minutes after Fischer got fouled in the box, which Noble stepped up and booted it down the middle.
Thomsen got our third goal after Fulham failed to clear Noble's corner kick which they only manage to hit it to Thomsen who smashed it inside the 6 yard box.
Disappointed with our draw against Swansea as we race to 2 goals lead through Honda and Thomsen
Decided to play my strongest XI out against Oldham who knocked out Liverpool in previous round. Was fantastic to see Clemente getting hat trick.
Tough match against Hull. Charlie Austin put them ahead with a diving header on 9th minutes and we struggled to find our way past them. Went nuts at half time and told them I want to see better performance in second half, which seems to have done the trick as we got 3 late goals from Sigurðsson and brace from Clemente.

Managed to tie him down to long term contract. He's been superb for us since joining us.
Good to see the club agreeing on finding feeder club to sign foreign youngsters. Hope they come up with few good clubs.
