Playing in windowed mode

I always liked to play FM in windowed mode but I bought the game today via steam and have noticed that windowed mode is greyed out.

Is there a way round this?

I did do a search but only found topics relevant to FM 14.

If window mode is disabled my assumption is the computer your using isn't strong enough graphically in terms of the resolution,

If you can tell us more info about the system your running it might help us find the problem.

Yea I was thinking it could be performance.

So i'm running Windows 7 64 bit operating system

Processor Intel Core i3 CPU M 380 @ 2.53GHz with 3GB ram

Laptop is a few years old now, so more than likely is out dated.

What is your laptop's screen resolution? It could also be that its too low to permit windowed display...

Yea that is 1280x720

that should help. 1280x720 is more than capable of running FM in windowed mode. I run it windowed at 1440x900, or should i say i used to, i now run at 1920x1080.
