Tried downloading a few torrents last night, but kept getting the error "torrent is not valid bencoding". Tried uninstalling utorrent and reinstalling, and also tried the same with Bittorrent.

Any ideas on a fix?

Does it bother other people when someone your mates with talks in a pretty belittling way about another mate when they're not around? I think it's a pretty dick move, especially when you're doing it to impress a chick you've known for about 2 weeks. Always makes me wonder what they say behind your back when you're not around.

So your mate thinks talking in a belittling way about another mate will impress a woman? He has much to learn.

Bought a new laptop a month ago and already having problems with it. I can't get a desktop! I turn it on and it loads up fine until it gets to the bit where you'd have your icons and start menu etc... where it's just a black screen with a mouse on it. I can get the task manager up and any programs or windows I can jammy my way on to from there but for the life of me I don't know what's happened! I shut it down normally and when I next went to turn it on, this has happened!

Does anyone know how the final grade for uni works out? I know it's probably be uni specific, but just trying to get an idea? I'm guessing 2nd and 3rd year aren't 50% each, probably 40% for 2nd year? So if I have 6 modules in 2nd year, they'd take an average for them and that would be 40% of my mark, then the rest comes from 3rd year and dissertation?

Completely dependent on your course. Mine was equally weighted 50/50, one of my friends was 60/40, another was 50/50 or 60/40 dependent on which weighting favoured them. Best bet is to ask your head of school or adviser.

Just found out that I'm keeping my job but have to move to another store, we're all on fixed term contracts and mine was due to expire on the 28th, I wanted to stay with WHSmith as I do enjoy working there and the company obviously wants to keep me as my manager spent an several hours yesterday trying to arrange something for me and eventually found me a place at a store closer to home for exactly the same hours. With the baby due in just a couple of months time I'm obviously very relieved to still be employed.

So Australia are in the Asian Cup and now Eurovision. I'm sticking $10 on them winning the African Cup of Nations in 2017.

To be fair there are enough of them working in bars in London to demand a place on population in Europe alone. Got to be more Aussies in Europe than Andorrans.

Been told I'm close to the sack at work.

One of the grievances is an untidy cupboard. Another is a job that I didn't even do.

Just fucking sack me already.
