How do I go about getting the Football Manager Data Update to work on my FM15. I was originally use to loading up a game and it gives you the option of which database you want to run but I don't see the option with this one Your text to link here...
I would like the most updated database available to FM15 as of today (if possible) and wondered how I go about it.
Sorry for my ignorance if it is very straightforward.

Place them all in Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2015 > Editor Data
Then start a new game and ensure that they are selected. When you start a new game it should work.

1) Download the data update to your computer using the "Download Now" button
2) Extract the zip file to reveal a folder called "sortitoutsi.net Live Data Update"
3) Move this folder to "Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/editor data/" (create the folder if it doesn't exist)
4) Start Football Manager and select "New Career Game"
Optional Step: If it's not working. When the "Choose Database" option pops up select "Custom" and then press the "Edit" button at the bottom and ensure that all the files named "(sortitoutsi.net Live Update)" are ticked.

I couldn't help notice that young Odegaard was not at Real Madrid, is this a purposely done thing? I only really checked him amount with some other BPL transfer which all seemed fine there. Just wondered about Odegaard though in case I had done something wrong

The problem is that some of the transfers which are supposed to be "enabled" aren't.
I was made aware of it when I started a new career with Swedish side IF Elfsborg and they didn't have Emir Bajrami in the team. The transfer is in the .XML file as far as I can see but Bajrami still shows up as a free agent.
I made a quick search on Henrik Ojamaa (a transfer which is supposed to be enabled in the latest version - 13th June) but he as well shows up at his previous club - Sarpsborg.
What to do? Am I doing something wrong here?

Henrik Ojamaa deal is enabled but because he is on loan and as we haven't yet removed loans the transfer has not gone through yet.
Emir Bajrami has been released in the update. That was what the last submission was. Need to submit a new one if he has moved.

Ah, ok! Thanks for clearing that up. However... When I looked through the .XML file I found the following (regarding Bajrami):

EDIT: Took care of it on my own save by removing the lines regarding the free agency in the XML-file, which put him back in the Elfsborg team.
But the information in the Update is still wrong, so I'd like to correct it here on the site. Just one problem...
Looked up Emir Bajrami in the Live Database Search and it's seems that the release from Panathinaikos is the latest submission. It does however say that his transfer to Elfsborg should be "enabled" as well. How do I update the "free agent submission"? All I get when I press the update button is a "Whoops, looks like something went wrong." message.

I have enabled Emir Bajrami to Elfsborg in the update now. Should be contracted until the 1-12-15. Any more details could you link me please.
As for 'whoops' thing I can't help you sorry.
