Hi FM fans
FlutSkin introduced a new Club Overview Panel including the pictures of club cities.
So, we decided open a topic for that. Who wants to join us?
We only have to find pictures of the city of each club, include them in a folder, and make a config.
The steps are:
1. find a picture with a relatively small file size (because if it has for instance 1Mb, the game takes a "long" time to load it) that really represents the city (or a panoramic view of the city); the dimensions of the picture are not important (but if we find a big and a high resolution picture - which I recommend - it is better to reduce it in order to decrease the file size). I recommend a picture with rectangular (widescreen) dimensions (in order to avoid picture distortion). The pictures can be saved as .jpg or .png
2. Please try to use different city pictures for different clubs, even if they are from the same city.
3. Put all pictures of the country in a folder with the name of the country
4. Create a config like this example

Important note for the authors
Please try to do images with a small file size (resize it and save a new jpg/png if necessary) because when the file is greater than 1MB the game takes a long time to load it.

Installation Instructions
Create a folder named citypics and put it in the following path:
mydocs/sports interactive/fm2015/graphics/pictures
If you already have a folder named Backgrounds (in the Pictures folder) with your stadium packs you have to organize the folders in order that the citypics folder will be read by the game BEFORE the backgrounds folder (don’t forget the game read the folders in alphabetical order)

Is that an aspect ratio recommend? I know it should be wide, but there are 16:9 / 16:10 / 15:9 / etc, all kinds of wide ratios.

16:9 looks better but in general we don't have to be rigorous about that. We only have to be careful in order to avoid a severe/visible distortion.

Due to FlutSkin only support resolution in 1920x1080 (I use in 1920x1200 pretty good though), I think images of cities won't need high res. Something around 800x450/720x405 even 640x360 should be enough.

What compress software are you using? I use 7-zip to pack up, so extensions are .7z. Almost all compress software can handle *.7z, like WinRAR / WinZip / etc.

WinRAR is good, sure can deal with 7z as long as installed version of WinRAR is not too old. I think 5.x is okay, maybe 4.x too.

Thanks. In fact it was rune from meistertrainer forum the author of the idea of the citypics. I only put the idea in practice in the skin, but even in that work, rune had play a fundamental role.
