And what governs how many ad boards a club has?
Can they have, say, 20? Or do I need to adjust the XML for that?

Clubs could have 40 or so boards but again accuracy is key - Aim to keep to boards used by the different clubs (this is usually about 16 or so)
You can post updates here but if you can also PM me a link to the update. This speeds up getting them added to the pack.

How they look? Just want to add the Sky Bet, Original Enterprise Insurance, Macron, Tool Station & Monarch are not mine.

The double Enterprise Insurance is a bit of a conundrum in that it works on the pitchside ad boards but has a habit of getting seperated on the upper tier ad boards, which is why I've only put them in as alternatives.

tv_capper I'll pm you the link for the boards but I've had no luck getting boards 13, 14, 15 & 16 to show up....tried adding codes in the 9000s to the XML but no luck.

Hey Beast72,

Download the below template and place your adboard over and multiply the layer to have the texture shine though.

I also use two layers with the actual adboard and give the top layer a 4.0 Gaussian Blur (filter -> blur -> Gaussian Blur) and multiply and merge with the below adboard, I then re multiply, merge the layers and set brightness to 50 and contrast to 10 to get a better finish. (the second link will give you and aboard with no layers merged to give you a better idea of the above steps.

What I tend to do for boards with the one deaign is create a new image 924x90 and make the adboard desing before pasting it onto my texture this means my boards have an even 50 pixel border at the sides and 28 pixel at the top or bottom!

For an adboard like above say I was repeating the fosters image twice, I'd create an image 412x90 and fill that with the fosters image. i'd then make an new image 924x90 and paste one fosters image at either end which gives me the same border as above along with a 50 pixel gap between my two fosters images

I've made some generic ones for League 1 and 2, Club wise the sponsors are all to obscure for the remaining clubs to find decent images for and would take too long too make from scratch. Thats just leaves the League Challange Cup and Scottish Cup which I'll update in a few weeks time which will then complete Scotland.

Would it be possible to make the adboards for the MLS clubs please?
If not possible, then a working config file for those clubs would be appreciated as I can make the boards myself. I believe, at present, the ID numbers for the MLS clubs are not being recognized, so the adboards won't show.

I must be hexed.

SI must have changed something in the coding of FM15 for some certain leagues as I have come across the same sort of thing.

I originally came across this when I discovered that certain teams in the French 3rd Div couldn't make the ad boards appear. Some teams can, some teams can't and no logical reason why as the ID's were all correct. I had a corruption in that game and started a new game in the A-League. I even made up individual ad boards for each of the teams before I started the game only to find out the A-League teams can't display those ad boards at all. Even the ads that are in the generic folder named "Australia" that comes with this patch do not appear. The only ones that appears are the modified default ones.
