Yes it was Shedender, but I can't win trophies all the time I guess! China should be a breeze here!
Thanks Gendo, the league title was important!
Changchun - End Of Season Round Up 2076/2077
Finally I've ended up in China, a place I've wanted to manage in since I turned up in Asia. However its not the top tier just yet. It should be a straight forward stint here in Changchun, its set up to succeed as far as I can see, a side sitting top of the pile with a few games to go Lets do this!
My first game in charge was always going to set me up to fail. A CFA Cup Fourth round tie against none other than Shandong. We slipped to a three nil defeat. But from then on it was plain sailing in the Jia League. We faced thirteen league games under my management which we went on to win eleven of them whilst drawing the remaining two! A superb unbeaten stint in charge in the league.
Well, from my first game in charge I was more than confident the league title was going to be ours. We absolutely walked to the league title. Ending up as champions whilst finishing sixteen points clear of runners up and fellow promoted side Chongqing. Yiteng got relegated after the previous manager of this club, moved there.
Job done in one hundred and three days. A short stint but now its time to try and find another place to manage and continue the success I've found as of late here in Asia. Fourteen games, eleven wins, two draws and one defeat. A decent amount of goals scored and the promotion with the title.

Remaining In China - 8th April 2078
I've found an almost perfect job here in China, well, it would look to be a perfect one, back in the day at the start of this career, things have changed a little bit as of late here in China however the job I've now grabbed is more than good enough for me in the top tier. I'm not sure if we'd be capable of such a turn around to do it all this year, but it should only be a two, maybe three season maximum job to complete the task in hand.
Guangzhou Hengda! The board expect us to win the league however I think it may be a little tricky for us to do it. You'll notice why very shortly. A tiny transfer budget and wage budgets but hopefully we can work around it. The club have a small history of late in the competitions.
On the right, you can see Gunagzhou haven't won a league title since 2071! We are now well underway in the 2078 season and as you can see, its been a slot start to the season with just one win from their opening five games whilst the board still expect me to now compete for the league title. Five points off the league leaders already!

Guangzhou - Mid Season Round Up 2078
So I was manager of the biggest club in China, Guanzhou, a job anyone wanting to manage in China wants to take. However with very little money available at the club it was going to be hard to try and turn it around. However as said in the comments, its not that competitive here in China if you're managing the right team, I am managing that team!
I had ten games in charge until we reached the halfway stage in the league, being fifteen games in, we are yet to feature in the cup competitions but our league form is going very well. After playing my ten games we've picked up six wins, two draws and two defeats. I've been very happy with the turn of form I've seen. The most disappointed I've been is the four all draw against Chongqing who we should be beating, especially when we're four nil up at half time!
Our league position isn't quite where the board want us to be, but we're definitely in the right area and beginning to compete for that top spot. As it stands halfway into the league season, Beijing sit top, a side who haven't won the title since 2050, hopefully we can hault them from securing one. Second place side Renhe look hot on their heels three points behind with us sitting in third place.

Guangzhou - End Of Season Round Up 2078
My second season in China and first season in the top flight has come and gone as we've brought the season to a close. The 2078 title for the top tier has been decided and as has the cup. With me now at the helm as whats considered the biggest reputation club in China I was hoping for quick success here before moving on, lets see how the season went...
League results first up and despite starting the second half of the season in immaculate form, taking up five wins from five and then six wins from seven games, we went on to hit a very rough patch with just a quarter of the season to go and it really did go on to cost us. We picked up one win in six games and in that run there was a time we hit just a single point in four games, that came against my former employers Changchun. However we did recover the season, finishing with four wins on the bounce...
Well the board expected the league title, I thought it was going to be tough form the start but believed that we could go on to do it. In the end, we've missed out and by quite a margin. Beijing claim their first league title since 2050! Whilst Shandong finish second, five points behind and we ended up in third place, a further six points behind them, finishing level on points with fourth place Renhe.
Our cup run proved to be a little more successful though, the first two rounds we were given home times and eased through with a four two victory over Qingdao and then a one nil win over Jiangsu in the Quarter Finals. We then faced eventual league champions Beijing in the Semi Finals. Losing the home leg one nil but triumphing in the second leg, away from home two one, sending us through to a two legged final against Shandong in the Final. It wasn't a brilliant first leg, a one all draw with us getting the away goal. All onto the second leg...
Well the second leg was even more boring than the first leg! However we were crowned Champions and what a rubbish way of doing it. We claim the CFA Cup by winning on away goals! I think I'd of rather lost than win on away goals! We didn't really put in a great shift but I suppose its a second trophy here in China ticked off! Three to go.
Having thought I rescued the season, finishing up in third and then winning the cup albeit on away goals, this then popped in my inbox just a day after claiming the cup title. The board requested a meeting with myself regarding our performances and the fact it hasn't been good enough this season, I haven't even been in the job a year and already facing a possible axe...
Well, I've survived the chop...for now, however we will need to start the new season in fine style as the board inform me they expect at least ten points from our opening five games, meaning we need to win at least three ideally.

Guangzhou - Mid Season Round Up 2079
So here we go again, the first half of the league season has come and gone and I'm hoping we can get off to the same sort of start we did last year. However I'm going to have to improve on the finish, the board are expecting me to pick up at least ten points from our opening five games so the pressure was on for us to succeed in the league this year around...
Boom! A big game, plenty of goals and we've gone on to claim the Chinese Super Cup with a superb four two victory over last seasons league champions Beijing. It just took three minutes for Beijing to get off the mark and half an hour later we were two nil down. Two nil down at half time and we were in trouble. Second half we played brilliant with Lin netting twice, an own goal as well as a goal from Pelaez secure a dominant showing despite finishing with ten men.
Champions League was one to forget for us, there was no chance we were competing in the group stage. After beating Shandong and Home United in the Qualifying Rounds we got torn apart in the group stage. Losing four games, drawing once and winning one, against Sanfrecce to end up finishing bottom of the group.
Our league form has been just as successful, if not, more successful than it was last season in the first half of the season. We've started off brilliant losing just twice in the league and drawing twice as we've gone on to win the remaining games of the first half so far. Seven clean sheets in the opening fifteen games, we just need to keep it going and not blow it this time.
Top of the league and just two points clear after fifteen league games. We have fifteen games to go to try and remain strong and secure the league title this year round. That would put us in the Chinese all stars game and give me a chance of wrapping up another country here in Asia, thats the plan anyway!

Guangzhou - End Of Season Round Up 2079
A third straight season in China has now come to an end and its my second season here at Guangzhou, I was hoping this would be my final season here, after clenching the Super Cup at the start of the year I now seeked success in the league which would give me the shot at the 'All Stars' game to try and clinch that and clear China off my list.
We got to a second successive CFA Cup Final this year but failed to retain our title after a horror display over the two legs in the Cup Final. We initialyl beat Hainiu in the Fourth round before copying the three one score as we beat Chongqing in the Quarter Finals. The Semi Finals saw us turn a one deposit in the first leg to win three one second leg and head through. The Final against Renhe saw us lose three two at home and then four two away from home to lose the title.
For a second season running we faced a blip in the second half of the season which could go on to cost us. We went four games without a win once again in the middle of the year which included a heavy five nil defeat against CFA Cup winner Renhe. However we did bag seven wins from our final fifteen games but disappointedly kept just three clean sheets.
Champions!! Come on!! We went on to claim our first league title in six or seven years as we won the league by just four points over runners up Shandong. Renhe, the cup champions finished in third and just a further point behind. Now it was all down to the All Stars game...
The Chinese Super League All Stars game is ours as well. We claimed a superb treble this season which completes China and lets me move on again. We good final, we went one nil up before conceding twice before the break. Second half we levelled and it went to penalties where we eventually triumphed. A superb eleven ten penalty shootout win rounds off China nicely.
Job done, as I initially said in my post when I took over, I was expecting this job to last two or three seasons and thats what it has done. Six hundred and twenty four days and my time in China is now done and dusted. Seventy six games were played under me with forty four wins, just fifty percent! Whilst we drew thirteen and lost nineteen. Scoring one hundred and fifty along the way.

A 'Brief' Return To Malaysia - 19th June 2080
I've got a superb chance here of marking of Malaysia after just a couple of games and it could turn out to be one of the shortest stints yet in my managerial reign should all go to plan. The job came about after the manager left for a lower placed side and I just had to go for the job. After being unemployed for the last six months it seems waiting was worthwhile, after one tempting offer..
I had applied for a vacancy at both Chelsea and Arsenal, both offered me an interview, Arsenal went on to snub me whilst Chelsea offered me the job. They finished fifth last season but fail to feature in the community shield, a trophy I must return to England for and with that I decided against a return to England just yet.
Then this manager came about, the Darul Takzim vacancy and you can see why I'm so happy with the opportunity. With just two games to go, the side who have won the last four league titles on the bounce, sit second and just three points behind the league leaders and with what I've studied, we've probably got the easier run in as well so have every opportunity to claim that league title. And another bonus...
They are in the Malaysian Piala FA Cup Final! Another trophy I need here in Malaysia. This could be a short stint and it could set me up nicely to complete Malaysia in the next few months. Should we win the league and the cup, it'll pit us in the Supercup at the start of the new season as well as the pre season domestic cup, giving me a chance to wrap up Malaysia before the league begins again.

Darul Takzim - End Of Season 2079/2080
I've been in charge here in Malaysia at Darul Takzim for just ten days now but I've got the chance of scooping a double almost immediately if results in the league can go our way. We've already got a cup final to look forward to but with two league games to go, it could still prove to be our season.
The first of two remaining league games this season and thins swung massively in our favour here. We welcomed Selangor PSNK with a one nil win, thanks to a thirtieth minute strike from Sulaiman. However the league leaders at the time, Selangor fail to a two one defeat at home against Terengganu, sending us to the top with one to go.
And the final game of the season, we did our best to blow it yet some how managed to hold on a take the title. We welcomed Terengganu, the side who just knocked Selangor off the top of the pile and we drew. Taking the lead twice but also blowing it twice. But Selanfor also missed the chance to win the title, after going ahead early on, they then trailed three one, eventually drawing three a piece.
Champions as it says, we went on to win the league title on goal difference, not something I can take much credit for, I took charge with them sitting second, two games from the end of the season and results have gone our way. I know it seems suspicious but we done what we had to, just about!
A ten day double scooped in superb fashion! We dominated the final with a three one win over Singapore Lions. We were ahead in the opening minute and then went two nil up in the eighth. Come the twenty third minute we were three goals to the good and sailing. We conceded just four minutes to go but it sure was enough to secure a second trophy in ten days.
We now head into the Malaysian Cup, another trophy I require here before the Supercup starts the new season off...

Darul Takzim - Malaysia Cup + Super Cup 2080/2081
Here we go, my chance to wrap up Malaysia as we head into the Malaysian cup, the pre season cup and a chance to claim that for a seventh season running, whilst we also are set to face the Super Cup before the league season begins, meaning my stay here at Darul Takzim could last just two hundred days should all go to plan! If not, it'll be another year here.
An easy preliminary round against KL Rapid, a side relegated this season saw us heading to the group stage of the Piala Malaysia. The group stage didn't go too badly, in fact we kicked it off superbly as we won four two away at ATM and then four one at home against Terengganu. A draw at home against Singapore Lions followed by a three one away win sent us through. We then beat ATM at home two one and Terengganu beat us at their place one nil to end the stage.
This then left us top of the group and heading through. Terengganu also head through with us after racking up ten points from six games whilst ATM miss out, finishing a point short of the second place qualifiers and having a better goal difference they'll feel slightly hard done by.
And so into the latter rounds of the competition and we were still barely challenged as we eased through. Pahang challenged us in the Quarter Finals where we won away two one before heading into the home leg needing just a draw, that we did, drawing two a piece eventually in extra time, seeing us head to the Semi Final. There Sabah fell at our feet with a three one home win, hatrick from Beckhness and then a two one win away from home, sending us into the Final.
Infront of more than sixty thousand fans we secured the Piala Malaysia. After a goalless first half we ran out three two winners following a superb five goal thriller in the second forty five. We went ahead eight minutes into the second half before conceding twice in twelve minutes. We then levelled again three minutes later before Ismail netted thirteen minutes from time securing the trophy.
Super cup is ours! Malaysia is done! We faced Selangor here in the Final and beat them three nil with next to no challenge from them. We went ahead after sixteen minutes but didn't add the other two goals till the final few minutes. Strasser netted twice in the final few minutes in injury time to secure a dominant win and the final trophy I required here.
I lost the screenshot, we also reached the AFC Cup Semi Finals before getting knocked out.
Job done in two hundred days! Perfect! A short stint but a very very successful won with me averaging a trophy every fifty days as we scooped three cup competitions and a league title in this stint and now I don't need to return to Malaysia, another country I've got out the way here in Asia. Played just twenty games, won fourteen whilst we drew three and lost three.
Now Malaysia will be taken out of my game and this leaves just England (Premier League), Indonesia (Super League), Singapore (Great Easter Super League) and South Korea (Both K-League Classic and Challenge) left loaded.

Back To Indonesia - 8th February 2081
Well its now time to return to Indonesia as I seek the final four trophies there. The job I've landed is a big one in Indonesia this season they find themsevles struggling a little though, however as you'll see, that doesn't stop the board expecting the very best out of me and still taking them to that league title once again...
Persipura, they've finally come calling to a man who turns ninety in October! Experience? Yep I've sure got that! They expect me to take them to a league title, they've backed me with a little bit of money, not loads though, I'm sure I'm able to cope here.
Heres the standings and the reason why the previous manager got sacked. Despite the club winning four trophies in the last seven seasons, including currently being the holders of the title after winning it last season, they find themselves struggling down in sixteenth place after the opening ten games of the season. We are seven games away from the halfway mark, I'll update the thread after those seven league games, hoping we've turned a corner.

Persipura - Mid Season Round Up 2080/081
As Ive already said, its not a complete half season update this, with me taking the reigns with ten league games already played, this will only contain the seven league games I've played to get us up to the halfway stage of the season. As well as that we've got some cup action to update you about and we feature in the CFA Cup once again, meeting a past team of mine as well.
The CFA Cup strangely drew us alongside my most recent club, Darul Takzim, what are the chances of that. We've featured well so far, playing four games, winning three and losing one, who did we lose to, none other than Darul Takzim as I returned to their stadium in Malaysia and got a poor result. We''ve dominated so far though. Just need to continue pressing on and we'll advance with ease.
The Piala Indonesia was underway before I took charge, however my first game was the two nil win in the Second Round, Second Leg against Persijap. We've since battled on to beat Badung four three on aggregate after extra time, it makes it look like we've struggled but in truth we had a lot of players on international duty!
Here is our league form since I took over and I honestly don't see what the previous manager was playing it. The squad I've got at my disposal is more than enough to win the title, we are still clawing it back up the table but my first seven league games in charge are certainly going in the right direction. Five wins on the bounce and then two draws to end this stint.
We are up from sixteenth to ninth in the league and with the games in hand we have there is no reason we can't go to the top of the pile. We have the second best goal difference in the league, win the majority of our games in hand and there is no reason why we won't be battling for the title as the board are expecting.

Persipura - End Of Season Round Up 2080/081
The end of season is here and infact, i've played through a little bit just to make sure I could include the super cup into the update and potentially put it all into one update rather than having to do a seperate update for what could potentially be one match should all go to plan this season. Lets see how the season ended up unfolding. Be warned: This is a long post with quite a few screenshots due to being in so many competitions!
No AFC Cup for me this year around. We should of easily dispatched April 25 however they brought the better game than we did and in the end we counted our missed chances as we fell to a poor two one defeat in the Second Round to crash out the competition.
Onto the Piala Indonesia and again this time its not been a very straight forward competition for the club expected to win it. We struggled in a couple of rounds, facing defeat in a couple of legs and having to hold on or claw it back.In the Fourth Round we were staring at defeat and then again in the Quarter Finals until an away goal sent u through. Eventually we made it through to the Final...
And faced little competition as we romped to victory here. A dominant showing saw us run away with a five nil victory over runners up Persepar. We went ahead after eight minutes and had a second just a minute later to double our lead. We ended up with three before the break and added our fourth and fifth in the second period.
Strangely we found ourselves in the Singapore Cup and we had a nervy run through this competition. Not a trophy I immediately require as I'm yet to visit Singapore and a couple rounds looked like we may head out. Muangthong in the Quarters done their best in the second leg to spoilt our party and so did Tampines in the First leg of the Semi Final. We awaited minnows Yangon United in the final...
I was expecting a big win here, unfortunately it wasn't quite as big as I was hoping come the end but we could of had more and alot more, Yangon United were barely in this game. A two nil win, both goals coming in the opening twenty four minutes sealing the trophy.
Now onto the second half of the Djarum Indonesian Super League and well, our form began to slip a little as we lost three times in our final fifteen matches as well as drawing twice. We already trailed the league leaders at the halfway mark but with plenty of games in hand, I was hoping we could do this...
We done it! Despite picking them up in sixteenth place after ten games we battled back superbly to take the top spot allbeit by a single point and a much better goal difference as well. We finished the league season with twenty one wins from thirty four games as well as five draws and eight defeats. Not a bad turn around if you ask me.
Super Piala time, super cup to you and me. But it was barely a competition, it seems we are the real giants in this league and dominanted from start to finish with twenty two shots to their eight. A lead was built after just three minutes before we doubled that before the half hour mark. Oktaviano was taking the match ball with a hatrick in the sixty second minute whilst we added a third late on.
Job done, adios Persiura. Its taken just two hundred and eighty five days to turn the fortunes of this club around after their shaky start to seal three cup titles and a league win in forty eight games. Thirty three wins, six draws and just nine defeat is a record I'm more than happy with as we went on to net over one hundred goals in my reign.
For anyone who hasn't managed in Indonesia before, this is the team to be for a dominant spell, dominated the competitions over the last ten years easily the best team. Possibly one of the easiest yet my favorite teams to be at so far here in Asia.

South Korea's Calling - 14th May 2082
I've now almost completed Asia with just two countries left to tick off here. This rounds down to three league titles and [b]two cup competitions left to claim here. South Korea being the next place I'm going to try and tick off. Its got two league titles and one cup competition to win. I'm fairly happy with the job I've got to tick of the first league title..
A very strange sacking and I don't know what came of it. Daegu had given up on their manager, claiming they've lost confidence in their previous manager and chopped him. This was when they were sitting fourth. I immediately applied and then got approached, a ninety year old manager, heading to South Korea. And by the time I took charge, the side had made it to the top of the pile. A long way to go this season, but currently unbeaten in the league. Here is my chance of securing the first league title here in South Korea.
