Well... a win at QPR next week and defeat for Hull at Spurs, and we're safe. But that does require us to win... bit optimistic.

Your 2 nil down, whats the point in bringing on a defender.

To try and stop Stoke scoring a third goal and winning the game. Something like that.

I think he was seeing sarcastic seeing as they conceded a third and lost.

Luke Shaw is having such an unlucky first season, plays well when he does play.

Hopefully not out for long.

The Jonny Evans' defensive horror show has begun.

Shame he wasn't banned forever.

He's not been on the pitch that long and Palace have done better getting forward. Quelle surprise.

Good half all in all, just hope we can keep it up and we stay steady at the back.

How many more times do Palace players want to fall over easily in the area?

EDIT: Tbf the Mata challenge probably was one, but the player fell down too theatrically so probably why the ref didn't give it.

Typically concede from a set piece.

God sake.

So apparently we've forgotten how to play football. Any sign of pressure and we shit ourselves defensively

This has been the worst half of football we've produced all season, which is impressive in a really depressing way.

I really wouldn't blame De Gea for leaving, but I really hope he does stay.

Need to make a change.

Looks like we're relying on Ashley Young to dig us out of this...thought that way too many times this season.

Just like that, get in. Absolute mess from the keeper

Murray should be scoring that chance. Absolute joke that he missed it.

Speroni is muck

Thank christ.

Falcao shoving the Crystal Palace defender into Speroni for the goal is the best thing he's done for us.

Yeah lets consolidate a 2-0 loss and take that..

I said we bring on a defender to stop them winning. That doesn't mean taking a 2-0 loss. We're still in the game at 2-0 but if they score 1 more its game over. The extra defender would help us to tighten up and hit them on the break to attempt to draw.

Burnley haha. Two seasons in the Premier League and straight back down with a whimper both times.

Hull down for me now, they needed a win today, Newcastle won't even need another point to stay up.

Credit to Sunderland and in particular Leicester and Villa for their form. 6 wins in 7 is incredible for any team let alone one fighting relegation (Southampton have been a bit of a soft touch lately though away from home) while Sherwood has done a great job so far, it was evident he had something about him.
