Dan
2014 - 2099
Its been a lengthy career, don't get me wrong, its taken a lot of gaming hours to get so into a save and for once I think I proved the old guard staff members wrong. Over the years I've started probably five to ten saves a year on the FM franchise. However this year I've done just one save and this is how its gone over the last eighty five seasons as I quickly recap on whats happened over the years.
Trophy Cabinet:
Country Completion:
From the highs of an Icelandic domestic quadruple and the Asian AFC Champions League. The sailing through Asia and North America. To the heartache I faced in Wales on two occassions, the troubles I went through with Shakthar and the fact I never won the European Champions League or Europa League. Never took on an International role and Sweden screwing me over completely...all good things must come to an end, perhaps sooner than I had hoped... A whopping twenty four countries dominated, three remaining uncompleted and one hundred and thirteen competitions ticked off...
Lets crunch a few more numbers shall we. I took charge of sixty seven clubs! My longest stint was one thousand four hundred and fifty three days and that was spent at FC AK in Africa and despite being my longest reign I don't think I won more than a single trophy there. The shortest job was just forty two days and that was my role at Monterrey in America. I claimed sixty managerial awards along my time, spent thirty one thousand and fifty two days playing whilst taking the occasional holiday leading up to eighty eight thousand and thirty three days (twenty eight point four five percent). Money wise I only earned twenty five and a half million pounds. Over the years I brought two hundred and twenty nine players for a combined fee of three hundred and seventy six million pounds, selling one hundred and thirty six for a combined fee of three hundred and fifty four million pounds. I apparently once spend ninety three million pounds on a single player, my highest expenditure whilst my best coup was just thirty seven million pounds. Paying out eighty four million pounds to agents whilst I axed one hundred and forty two players. Ranking wise I sit first in nationality, fifth in a nation, five in a continent and fourteenth in the world rankings. Finally my career stats. Two thousand, eight hundred and fifty seven games were played in my management which saw one thousand, eight hundred and thirty eight won (sixty four percent), four hundred and fifty drawn and five hundred and sixty nine lost. Six thousand six hundred and four goals scored, three thousand four hundred and twenty two conceded (a plus three thousand one hundred and eighty goal difference). Sixty cup wins, forty five league titles, twenty five promotions and two deadly relegations.
RETIRED! GAME OVER! And so this is the end of this wonderful, lengthy career, possibly the best career I've ever played through, as I've already mentioned, plenty of highs and plenty of lows, its just a shame its had to end in such a way. Plenty of trophies, plenty of heartache. Plenty of new languages learnt apparently!
Finally I'd like to thank everyone who has read this career whether its skimmed through looking at the pictures or followed every word. Followed from the start of jumped aboard midway in or even over the last couple of weeks. All of your comments and views weren't missed! Every comment I received just motivated me to play on further into the game! So thank you all! I'll be back with a new thread for FM16, until then I'll continue to lurk around the forums spying on your careers!
Cymro
Dan
Thanks Cymro, appreciate the kind words. I did debate sending it to SI but in all honesty, its not worth the hassle, I think all the loading and removing leagues eventually overran the game and so its best to leave it here.

Dan
Thanks Shedender, appreciate every comment you've fired towards this career and I hope your carer continues onwards!
Shedender
Oh don't worry, I've no intention of stopping my career . . . at the moment.
Dan
Well I'll be on board continuing to follow it sir!
bmg033
Also I love how it mentions you were shortlisted for Conference South Manager of the Year but fails to even hint at the fact you won the Premier League, TWICE!

Thanks a lot bmg033, it definitely wanted Mr yo remember some of the bad times in that bio! Haha!
Dan
It was annoying for it to end that way Gendo but I guess that's just life! But I appreciate your comments throughout man!
Dan
Thanks for following Benniewijs as I said I've appreciated everyone's comments and kind words, it was time to end I guess

The main reason being, this career has been nothing short of sensational and it's delivered excitement, joy, heartbreak, relegations and sacking - five major things that turns a 'basic' career into an epic career, in my honest opinion and it's a career I know Dan has enjoyed doing before the unfortunate ending and it also doesn't deserve to get 'lost'.
Congrats fella, I've placed the career in the HoF AND on the main career page as well.
