Yes but no one knows how rich he actually is.

A lot of what they've spent has been recouped through sales (Grabben and Lallana) and they've not spent THAT much money in comparison to teams like QPR.

"I want to play more" Plays basically the most before Christmas, we offer him a deal then "I want to play in CM". Plays in CM and basically gets us knocked out of the FA Cup. Offer him contract again "I want 4 years". Offer him 4 years and 165k (incentive based so likely 120k with bonuses) "Nah, I'm going Liverpool for 150k and a massive signing on fee"
