Normally wait for the fixtures to be released but what the hell.

I agree with Based Jorge though, although I think Bournemouth might stay up and depending on who we/Sunderland buy will be replaced by one of us.

Would like Bournemouth to stay up, got some distant family from that neck of the woods. My ideal relegation places would be Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs. Well, I can dream can't I?

I've just noticed Mark is now staff which is great, but I'd still like to ban him for the above comment.

Chelsea is purely because my step dad supports them, and I have taken to disliking everything he likes. Hence, I don't like Dido, Madonna or Beatles. Arsenal because I hold grudges and I am still gutted they relegated Wigan the other season. I'd be the same whatever team had beaten them that night. I know it is irrational, but that has been me all my life. And Spurs, well when you grow up in a family who all hate them, it is bound to rub off on me!

Would laugh so much if West Ham went down. Playing second tier football in the Olympic Stadium.

I was tempted to put them in the bottom three but as funny as it'd be there's far worse teams

I reckon it'll be closer than last season, but Chelsea will still win the league.

As for the bottom, I honestly have no idea. People will be ready to say Bournemouth but there's no reason to say they won't give it a good fight. I think Watford will do the best of the three promoted sides. Also think Sunderland will struggle but will survive by beating us. Again.

Hard to really give any sort of prediction so far. I'd imagine the league will be considerably closer over the entire course of the season though.

I'd like another last day like the other year, 2 teams that could win the league. I lost my voice cos I was shouting for City to win and they did.

Chelsea are easily in the best position and should win it again. City need some signings and I can see Pellegrini going but they have to improve this year. Arsenal and United could both go either way, I think maybe Arsenal will settle down and have a good season, but they also need some signings and I don't think they'll win it. Us, I think it'll be another difficult season, Sturridge even if hes fit won't be enough to lead the line. Spurs should press on from last season, but it's Spurs so

Chelsea have announced they may play 2/3 seasons away from Stamford Bridge while its expanded to 60,000, although plans are in consultation.

Would've thought the area around Stamford Bridge was too highly dense to make expansion work.

Madness how the fixtures are out tomorrow.

We'll be able to find out when Sunderland are going to sack Dick Advocaat as well.

We'll also be able to work out when in January Moussa Sissoko will give up.

True. It was January 3rd on this year, right?

I believe the plan is to dig down and gain some of the extra capacity via this approach.

Bournemouth away on the opening day. Always tricky going to a newly promoted side in the first few games.

Tough opening month for Newcastle - games against Manchester United and Arsenal.

We got one point from the equivalents of our opening four last season, and that was down to Papiss Cisse scoring two at Swansea.

I don't think we've got a great opening two months, but hopefully we won't be kept waiting two months for a win this campaign.

Not the kind of game I would've wanted on the opening day, but at least we can get one of the hardest games of the season out of the way early on. November is looking interesting though, Arsenal, West Ham and Chelsea.

Could happen if you get Cech, a good center back and a top striker. On that note, is Coquelin going to be a starter or are you actually going to get that holding midfielder that you've needed for years?

I can see us finishing about 8th if Lloris leaves. Such an average squad we've got apart from a couple of players.

Speaking for myself I'm happy with Coquelin as a starter, it's if he gets injured there's a problem.
