Phenomenal Career Dan! Definitely Hall Of Fame !

It's a shame it had to end. I can't wait for your next one.

It is a shame but thank you Pippadoc! Your comments definitely helped me continue the save! I'll be back in FM16 with hopefully another lengthy save but a little different to this one

Been looking through my files on the computer the last couple of days and I have managed to come across a back up save at last! Its dated back to the cup Final but I'll try and replicate the season as best as possible and re win those two trophies again before stepping down then trying to re add those leagues/different leagues back in to see if we can restart this save!

There may be some hope yet..

I THINK I'M BACK!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/16RrqhIXIhdRruIAO7flTwNBw6O3pG6X6fQ9ftSc.png

So I played on through the remainder of my season at FH, I was almost a year away from where the game had crashed, I managed to replicate the season, not score wise obviously as I had eight league games and two cups games still to play, but I managed to regain both remaining trophies to give me the clean sweep here in Iceland and then resigned on the same day as I did originally. 28th September if I do remember correctly. Originally my record was: P 45, W 35 D 6 L 4. This time it hasn't varied too much, I played 45, won 36, drew seven and lost just twice all season. We scored ten more goals but conceded two more.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TqflixHoxSOc6W3TONAhx3kN4q8ZmVG7Df8jjrGY.png

After my resignation I holidayed through until the 1st of July and have again removed the Russian second division, all Iceland leagues, all Swedish leagues and have added just the French and German leagues to join the Russian top tier and all playable Italian leagues. I currently sit on the 1st July 2099 and once again unemployed looking for a new job.

I'm not 100% sure how much longer I'll be able to continue this save through the crash dumps but for now it seems back on track!

A Return To Management - 27th May 2100

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/k1PFqGRFXiCoxoILvcsLyBOKMPe8sAUqLCACmoTX.png

I don't think anyone saw this coming, the save has been ressurected and after being without a job for almost two years now I've returned with the new leagues and finally stepped down in France to try and tick a few trophies off here. I've got a big job, didn't bother starting in the lower tiers here after a certain job became available.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/77xz45WppBndmr7ZEZKIo4PBQVvAALP33Qb7dtOj.png

Monaco! I've landed on my feet in France as I pick up this side who have just finished the latest league season, the previous seasons standings and last few title winners will all be revealed next. A small transfer budget of just over five million pounds and plenty of space in the wages to improve the squad I'm hoping I'll only need to be here a couple seasons.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/AAiv62x1TYisLcfeR0tzbJFlWdd0mAfeqcakU81b.png

So this season Monaco finished down in third, a point behind second place Saint-Etienne and then sixteen points behind eventual league champions PSG who took their fifth title on the bounce. Before they went on their five title run we had the previous two as shown above.

Good luck with your job in Monaco. Need some improvements in your defence before next season. Maybe chance one or two wingers for top class defenders.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/b3EIZAI41kpU6RQddouYXclVxiywKo7rJHA1uXhJ.png

Well it didn't go too well at Monaco at all! Its the 17th October and I've been released from Monaco after a very poor start to the league season. So it'll be back to the drawing board for me now!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/R7zgNQeRJrnSWaR1QwrY1fgcNDis9k4QbrrZQvME.png

And so this is what happened, eleven league games were played and we sat in the relegation zone in eighteenth! Really struggled to get goals and any decent run on the go and that cost me my job. The Europa League didn't go much better easier!

Staying Put In France - 30th October 2100

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/k1PFqGRFXiCoxoILvcsLyBOKMPe8sAUqLCACmoTX.png

So I've only been out of a job for two weeks and now I'm back in on the scene and ready to take on another club in France. I thought staying put made sense as I still need to scoop all seven trophies here and it would be pointless to leave just because of one bad stint in the country, hopefully this one is much smoother.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vNaRWn4brHbyZIGsOih333tZS54KTtBLMHjqnYKg.png

Well here we go, Strasbourg are the side that I have taken charge of. They are expected to win the Championnat National title, not really sure why the previous manager decided to leave his role at the club as they are currently sitting third and just a point off the top spot. I aim for this to take me till the end of the season, then plan on taking over a relegated side to hit the lower league in France.

Strasbourg - End Of Season Update 2100/2101

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Qp5ZPILluYnGuT93G3Vpy49E25MSJZyYtOJlDfys.png

Well I'm pleased to say I managed to stay in this job, Strasbourg didn't feel the need to kick me out like Monaco did, however things went a lot smoother here than they did over in Monaco. With the season now ended, heres the usual quick review of how both the league and cup went and where we ended up finishing.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Oqf7GrQ4V1bfD44ao06f18RPObVZbx6l3CvFDqG3.png

The cup run was grande for us. We made it al the way to the tenth round where we eventually got knocked out. I was happy with beat Dijon, a side in a greater league than us even if it was via penalties, a wins a win. Arles-Avignon were also a league higher but we couldn't replicate the win, losing three goals to one at home.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/8YZDv93dYoEBAkxK33sxv8sKRIdj4CR71fia9zXW.png

Our league form was pretty strong throughout my reign here at Strasbourg and this saw us put together a strong title bid. A couple times in the league season we hit rough patches, at the end of the year we ended without a win in four games. February we also went three games on the bounce without a win once again.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/5Jjfop3wQ04ByifZ6UYS9tmNmAexdPud9MN4Gw7V.png

Champions! But boy was it close! We claimed the league title over both second, third and fourth placed teams Paris FC, Istres and FC Gueugnon by a single point. We also only had two points over the teams finishing in fifth and sixth as we finished just ahead of the pack even without a win in our final four games.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/BigtswKagLk5dLNBxM0VMv8jgnejjfzzqHWMcFaM.png

I kinda wish I didn't resign after I realised I'm unable to apply for one of the relegated teams now so that plan has backfired big time however I do plan on staying in France with any luck. I will seek a Ligue 1 side whos been relegated. Lasted just over two hundred and eighteen days in charge of Strasbourg.

Another French Appointment - 22nd July 2101

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/k1PFqGRFXiCoxoILvcsLyBOKMPe8sAUqLCACmoTX.png

I originally said I wished to stay in France at least one more season and I've managed to get another job which should ensure I do stay here another year, all going well of course. I've picked up a job in Ligue two, its been a long time appointment with us now nearing the end of July and only just getting the job, but after their relegation it should be another chance for a trophy.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/5cTovDsDoQ9C2fJagQH7VSdDk4v5Na0jUulZwbSt.png

So Montpellier are the new club, a big club being relegated from the top tier of French football and now I'll look to revive them back into the top flight here. The board obviously expect us to win the title and if I'm honest, thats my expectations as well, I've had a brief look over the team and am happy with what I've taken on.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/obCkJ5TXLPTno3pIqlcPU318Vve0ZFu7cgyqdRFp.png

Could admittedly do with a couple new faces here and there but I honestly think this squad is more than capable of competing for the top spot in Ligue 2.

Montpellier - Mid Season Update 2101/2102

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hvAxddNOiRcolJZtEsxdVKynRgFnIlqItRoc8Cr6.png

Well my first few months are up here in Montpellier and life hasn't been too bad once again in France. It appears to be treating me better now than it did back with Monaco. However things aren't quite as plain sailing as I would have liked especially over the last month or so. Hopefully its only a small blip and we can soon be back on our way.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/F0QE6vybwAQ17jnJBniGzG88cemhWR1bGFBdtKhk.png

Our Coupe de la Ligue run is sensational right now and all I'm hoping is that we can extend it that little bit further. A nervy first round saw us needing penalties to advance over Clermont. We then traveled to Arles-Avignon and beat them one nil, the same scoreline we shocked Lens with in the third round. We went on to beat Guingamp one nil in extra time thanks to a ninetieth minute penalty. Caen now await us in the Quarter Finals where I'm more than confident we can beat our fellow league rivals.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/XhwlvqYFuw4LHCpAvpKQvsrfwPKW2fzi5p8mCUkD.png

Our Coupe de France run could be over before we've really got going by the looks of the ninth round draw. We will face a home tie against Lyon. The first two rounds were relatively plain sailing for us, a two nil win over Villefranche away from home and then another trip away saw us beat ES Pennoise four goals to nil.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ZDqSVEaDGRGJLSmfdSSDDDpVB4BwMglaFCkDSv0h.png

The league season started so brightly as we were expected to, we didn't lose a single game in the opening ten we played, picking up six wins and four draws but that has now taken a slight turn for the worse, winning two of our last ten games and that has cost us our very strong start to the season and will see us chasing to catch up the second half of the season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/kKhDGep8G0WQMuYrl2jowjWMFY0FoslmINIEyVWD.png

We've really dropped our league position after a more than promising start. We sat top for a long while in the first half of the season but as we hit the halfway mark you can see we now sit down in eighth place and seven points off the top spot whilst trailing third place and the promotion spot by five points. Hopefully we can switch things around and get on another good run to help us get back into the top three.

Montpellier - End Of Season Update 2101/2102

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hvAxddNOiRcolJZtEsxdVKynRgFnIlqItRoc8Cr6.png

So the board didn't get impatient with me and allowed me to finish the season in charge here at Montpellier with the hope I'd turn our early form around and take them back to Ligue 1 football next year. We'd need to be a little more consistent than we were in the closing half of the first season if we were to get that way. We were also on two good cup runs...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nBRJikQfbO42PovUQvnzeThskEZbrxh5cK0cBK4Y.png

Both cup runs came to an end after the halfway mark of the season. Lyon knocked us out the Coupe de France in the ninth round, beating us three nil, an expected defeat thats for sure. We then unfortunately fell out the Coupe de Ligue in the Quarter Finals which was annoying losing to fellow Ligue 2 side on penalties.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6c5AM1mPMfekQLwnZ7YJmHilMrdsU2Vd51SuKK31.png

The second half of the season was much better, it saw our early consistent form return and we only lost twice and draw three of our final nineteen league games. More wins on the board definitely helped our league position in the second half of the year. A fair few clean sheets also found their way onto our sccoresheets as we protected leads well.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/uwiAqxyUdSAwYkQeXp3nkqtSG2GuZx5ONDogeXdI.png

We were crowned Champions of Ligue 2 but not until the final day as it was finally confirmed mathmatically. We led for a while but finally confirmed we won the title by a single point over second placed Caen. We were also only three points clear of third place Ajaccio who will also join us and Caen in Ligue 1 next season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/XFcjXZG8HsfGpnozfvi1naS9I1kCOnXenDmhfp8o.png

Well on the 15th May I decided to hand in my notice to the board and move on to pastures new. Only stayed for two hundred and ninety seven days but it proved to be enough to second the league win and promotion, what I came here for. Forty six games in charge, twenty eight wins, nine draws and nine losses set up a good stint here.
