I have taken it upon myself to lead the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Poranešna Jugoslovenska Republika Makedonija. In addition to being a former Yugoslav Republic, it also has great historical roots as the Empire of Macedon during the times of Classical Greece. Home to just over 2 million people. it is the 2nd smallest Balkan nation ahead of only Kosovo by around half a million. I will be undertaking the profile of a Macedonian national in hopes to bring them victory. What does this victory consists of is up to you and I; is it just a World Cup appearance? A Euros appearence? Beating the other Balkans consistently? The career will help us decide. This is in the same vain as my San Marino save I did last year, so I will also be managing various clubs, perhaps some Macedonian ones if I'm able, in an attempt for personal glory as well.
Republic of Macedonia
Manager
I have assumed the profile of Macedonian national Bozhidar Petkovski, a name amalgamated using common naming statistics of Macedonia, so don't roast me actual Macedonians/other Balkan nationals.
As a younger manager thrust into managing the national team, my current hope is to bring stabilization to the team and start to string a few good performances together, no need for unrealistic goals right off the bat.
Additionally I hope to grab a job at a club to start some coaching courses and have my ability increase to match my status as a manager of a European international squad.

A poor (financially) team in the Ghanaian Premier League.
I'll at least chat with them.

I've decided to try my luck with a broke, actually in the red, Ghanaian Premier League squad.
Small squad and no money....not promising.

On a side note, I had stint with SonderjykE on an FM from yesteryear, rather enjoyable, 7 Morrisseys out of ten.

2014 September Friendly & Euro Qualifier
My first match in charge of Republika Makedonija! The players definitely seemed to be adjusting to how I play, but a decent win over a decent Cyprus squad. I like to play possession football and it seems they've started to feel that already. An opening win is always pleasing though
Welp....first competitive match and it a slaughter against Spain at HOME. Philip II of Macedon is weeping in the skies. In reality they took it to us yes, but we came damn close a number of times and hit the woodwork 3 times (check the image below for the full game statistics). I guess it's welcome to real management for me then.
Blegh

Unfortunately the youths are garbage and the dreaded "gray players".
Neat! Maybe they can help!

Signed a bunch of frees as we literally have no money. Although neither does anyone else in the league I guess?
Yeah, this was too much for such a young manager in an alien land to take on. No money, poor play, players have a poor attitude. I called it the night of the Hearts of Oak defeat.
Time to focus on the national team and perhaps chase another club in a few months.

2014 October Euro Qualifiers
Away in the capitol of Slovačka I managed my first victory with the team of Bozhidar's homeland! It was a bit of a bloodbath, perpetrated mostly by the home team, and we nicked possession and generally deserved it. Hey, 2-0, 3 competitive points!
An admittedly lucky result against a strong Ukrainian team, but also an admittedly OHMAZING result at home under the eyes of Phílippos II ho Makedṓn in his arena in our capitol. What else can I say, we FM'ed them
Would you look at that.

Perhaps take my Balkan talents to the United States of America?

I suppose old feelings die hard
Perhaps a move is on the cards to the other English speaking power of the world?

No word back from PNE yet and another MLS team, albeit a Canadian one this time, wants to talk.
Let's see if they are more welcoming in The Great White North.
van6969
Well hot dog! I'll mull over this contract but Montreal have a solid squad, solid finances, and seemed to have finished poorly last year due mostly to mismanagement, which I can obviously change!
van6969
Let's do this!
Squad seems to be pretty solid.

Picked up 3 former US Internationals and MLS legends to help in the backroom.

2014 November Euro Qualifier & Friendly
Wow... clearly deserved more but at least we squeaked the victory in. Totally handled them up until the final third, clearly.
Could it be a qualification right out the gate?!
Absolutely handled Malta in this "friendly" that seemed more like a brawl. Played well and won 3-0 so no complaints though!

With Orlando City FC and NYCFC entering the league and Chivas USA dissolving prior to the 2015 MLS season, an expansion draft is to occur. I've protected many key players but some guys are still open to be plucked.
Unfortunately we lost solid USA central midfielder Eric Alexander, hopefully I can replace him this offseason.

Wow, out of the gates sprinting!! Aside from getting wrecked by Spain, which I'm not too upset about in the grand scheme of things, we're undefeated!!!!
I mean come on, in a full calendar year Macedonia is 5-0-1 having played Spain, Slovakia and Ukraine! I would have taken that in the beginning every day of the week!
As far as the Bext XI goes, Pandev continues to be Mr. Football of Macedonia.

With the 11th pick of the first round of the MLS Superdraft I gamble on 21 year old American DM George Scott.
Hopefully he can develop!

Friendlies
Left it to my assman and we did alright this preseason. Don't really fret friendlies.
Bunch of transfers in and out, you'll notice I signed some guys from my Academy, waived them, and resigned them....yeah I'm dumb and accidentally cut them.

March 2015 – Montreal
Major League Soccer
Started our MLS season with an anxiety ridden barn burner against Seattle, they scored within 8 minutes, then we went on to score two goals through 61, then by 81 with goals from the open field and the spot they were back up 3-2 until 20 year old Jamaican Williams nabbed us the draw.
A decent result against Houston in Texas, a place which always proves difficult to win regardless of the quality of the team.
Finally got our first win at home against Portland, a game that we dominated but couldn't find the back of the net until the 85th minute, adding another in the final minute of regulation, before they made it interesting with a stoppage time score.
Smashed Colorado away. Totally dominated. Jackie Mac(Jack McInerney) took the game by the scruff of the neck.
A tough one at home against Canadian rivals Toronto F.C., I feel like we deserved more but we could not finish to save our life until Jackie Mac scored a screamer, which would have been better had it not solely made up for his poor play in the game prior to the goal.
Definitely looking to get into the playoffs this year.

2015 March Euro Qualifier & Friendly
Shit! I feel like we certainly deserved at least a draw and the 94th minute loser is just the rage icing on the fucking lose cake.
We are going to need another result against the Ukraine to have any chance, which is nerve-racking.
The damn straight red fucked us the entire game. Very annoying and just blegh.

April 2015 – Montreal
Major League Soccer
It's been a month of up and downs and Piatti goals!
We were the April fool against New England in our April 1st meeting; it was a strange game where although we had chances, they couldn't not score, Agudelo snagged a hattrick with his first being a goal from my CB mistiming a header, they second literally being kicked off of him by my keeper in the area when it was just the two of them and his third being a penalty from him diving. All in all an awful start even though we didn't play too terribly.
Conversely from the previous match, we didn't even deserve a draw fro mthis one away at D.C. United and yet we managed all 3 points, Piatti scoring his first of a month chock full of his goals for us.
A game at home to Chicago was a strange one, but one we deserved. We were running circles around them but found ourselves still 0-1 down approaching the 75th minute; Lagos collects a long through ball and is seemingly pushed in the back for a penatly/red card, although some have said he dived, and in the scrap concerning this another Chicago player was sent off. Piatti converted the penalty and then we went on overload and he grabbed the winner two minutes from time.
We took the scalp of Canadian rivals Vancouver in the next match. We dominated the first half and went into the break 2-0 up with Piatti bagging one for his 4th of the month. They came out blazing and I must say we are lucky to have held onto all 3 points, however I would have been angry if we didn't at least manage one.
A superbly frustrating game against Philadelphia. We dominated them, Piatti put us in the lead, and yet they ended up bagging two and winning. The reason I say it was so frustrating, is because we had 6 clear cut chances! ugh
We will definitely make the playoffs, but need to stop losing these strange games.

May 2015 – Montreal
Major League Soccer
Started May with the Piatti fiasco but I've convinced him to stay....by not coming good on my promise to sell him before the end of April deadline. Understandably he is mad, hopefully it subsides.
First May game is a solid victory over Orlando City. We put them to the sword and deserved to win by more than one. Piatti getting the winner may bring him out of his slump.
A second consecutive victory in New York against their New York Red Bulls side. Another domination game that we deserved. Piatti got another and decided he wanted to stick around for a bit
Blegh. Was wrecked by Los Angeles. Kept it close for a while, but they piled it on in the last 20 minutes.
Quality victory against Sporting Kansas City in a game we domianted in the first half, and then let them make it interesting in the second half.
Had to knick a draw in a game against Real Salt Lake that we actually deserved 10 goals and the 3 points. Another frustrating draw.
Still very in the playoff mix.

June 2015 – Montreal
Major League Soccer
What a garbage time in the month that bisects the calendar year. Just shit.
Started with a frustrating loss at home against San Jose where we just played super poor and deserved to lose; those games are still frustrating though.
Next we just shit the bed against FC Dallas in Texas. It was a decent game after they went up in the 4th minute and we threatened all game, but two cheese goals by them in the 79th and 91st made the score one that flattered them honestly.
The final game in a light June month was the rematch away in Seattle. In a game where we had 60/40 possession and two more shots on target than them, I felt we at least deserved a share of the points. Away in Seattle is one of the toughest games in the MLS though so I suppose this result isn't as frustrating, just annoying.
Despite the shit month I'm not worried about not making the playoffs.
Made a surprise move by trading one of our better performers to DC. I just felt they were giving us so much for a player that didn't deserve it; hopefully it will play out in the future.
As you can see, Piatti, Jackie Mac and Bernier are our top performers. Really need to shore up the defense and keeping prior to next year.
