Dean Hammond is now on loan to 
Sheff Utd until 30th June 2015 paying 50% of wages. The loan deal includes an option to buy the player for £250k.
The 32-year-old has made 16 appearances and scored one goal for the Blades since joining from Leicester in October.
Boss Nigel Adkins told the club's official website: "I have said it many times, Dean is an honest, hard-working professional of the highest level and he is a big part of our squad and team.
"His presence around the place is bringing other players on, he is a role model for them to look up to.
