I always do it at the start of UT when the game comes out.
Build up a few coins, buy a decent team and then start playing online.

Oh yeah. Then when they're grand you end up playing a game that you have 60%+ possession, about 10 shots on target and lose 2-1 with your opponent having about 3 shots in the entire game. This game would drive you to insanity

Took me an half an hour to find a game, second half I was leading 1-0 and it crashed. Gave up early.
Anyone tried CM?

Career mode is actually really good.
Plays totally different to online though, so you'll need some time to adjust I'd say.

Passing in the game certainly leaves a lot to be desired at times. Really unless you've built up your attack and moved the opposition around you're more than likely going to give the ball away. As for pace it's a tough one as they've attempted to stop the Ibarbo and Doumbia shite, but in doing so they've completely fucked it. When you do create a really good chance you've some 60 paced defender or midfielder catching your 85+ striker who is a good 3-4 strides in front of them. I'm sure they'll patch the game at some stage and it'll be a better gaming experience, but it won't happen that soon.
Play career instead of Ultimate Team, it's much better.

As in passing to the wrong guy? All the time.
Think the worst thing is passing to a striker to see the defender step ahead of him. Every time. Its literally impossible, you cant play it to feet but you cant play it over the top either

Yeah but it makes it painfully boring plus actually like no chance of a counter. Last year was maybe more in your expression 'cunts blasting it up to their strikers' but it seemed more balanced

Getting kicked from games you're winning 3-0 with 10 minutes to go and it's a loss for you.
Not disconnected from Xbox Live or anything else though, just EA Servers.

that was fixed in the patch that released on PC at the weekend. Its not out on console, yet though.
