McDonalds and Coca Cola release statements wanting Blatter to step down immediately.

So have Visa and Budweiser.

So there's a sponsor revolt potentially in progress - what many have said would get SB out - and he's still staying put. At this rate its going to take something properly extreme to get him out before February, and I bet he still won't go then.

Which means John Oliver drank a Bud Light Lime in vain. For shame.

And everything was good until the moment when [French president Nicolas] Sarkozy came in a meeting with the crown prince of Qatar, who is now the ruler of Qatar. And at a lunch afterwards with Mr Platini, he said it would be good to go to Qatar. And this has changed all pattern.

It would have been nice to tell the other countries who were spending millions on their bids that the World Cup was going to Russia and Qatar anyway. Unbelievable.
