So I renewed my premium membership yesterday and am trying to download the whole facepack megapack and the download time goes down to 1 hour, then up to 17 hours left, then down to 4, back up etc. Anyone else having this problem?

Download is still ongoing for the last 30 minutes, and has 7 hours left. This should be a 20 minute download for me, not 10+ hours. Up to 11 hours, then back down to 8. Please advise.

I had some problems with downloading yesterday. Was only partially downloading the megapacks... Downloads from other websites seemed to be working though, so it might be an issue with the site

It's dependent on your own connection just as much as the sites (which have been having high load at the time).

If you can post the the exact url with key (e.g. fileserverX.sortitoutsi.net?key=XXX) as well as info on your broadband (e.g. http://testmy.net/) I can look into it more.

Hi, is the download limit at 2.5 MB/s? My internet can go beyond that and I was wondering if I could beyond that. Also, I was downloading the facepack today and around 6 GB of download it suddenly stops with no options to continue. It says something like "download is taking too long, network stop downloading" something like that. I was using Chrome. I have since deleted the file and redownloaded, but it's frustrating to see it stop.

Interesting i've never seen that error from Chrome before, i'll look into it.

And no the limit isn't set at 2.5MB/s. The limit is about 50MB/s per person I believe, but if 100 hit one server at one time, it could easily drop that low. That shouldn't happen though as we distribute all traffic evenly amongst multiple servers.

Are you still having problems now? We haven't had any reports of any issues since that first weekend (which would have been very busy).

Sadly Im downloading the logo megapack now, and and it started out at 28 minutes, then went back up over 2 hours, then back down, then up again and down. Don't know what's going on, as I have downloaded many times before with no issues.

If it's going up and down that will just be your connection changing. Could be any number of things.

To be honest you have to remember it's a 4-7GB file, anything under an hour is pretty good

I have been a member for 4 years and have always downloaded the facepacks and logos megapacks from here. Yesterday, when I tried to download the changes pack for the faces I get this message:

"According to our files you have never downloaded this megapack before. Please download the latest version of the complete pack to start with".

Why am I getting this message? I have always had the megapack. I certainly don't want to download it all again when I already have it.

You don't have to download it all again, there is an option to "show all available files" where you can pick what to download and it very helpfully shows you any update packs you may have missed.

Looking at your account I can see you did get 7.08 but not 8.00 yet, seems it's a bit buggy, really it shouldn't show you that message. I'll look to fix that.

But in the mean time you can definitely use the "show all available files" button to grab the latest pack
