You have probably also downloaded the icons pack. There's a mistake in the config file of the icons pack which assigns the small faces to the main player pic. Our mistake. We apologise.

Happily, though, this is very simple to fix. Follow the below steps to fix it in less than 30 seconds.

1) Go to your ICONS folder and locate the config.xml file.
2) Open it with NOTEPAD. (Opening with any other text-based program is fine, but it'll take MUCH longer)
3) For PC users, press Ctrl+H. For all mac users, its CMD + F, then tick 'replace' in TextEdit.
4) Find all instances of /portrait and replace them with /icon.
5) Save and close the program
6) Job done

Hope this helps you all

But will the icons megapack config be fixed? Haven't downloaded it yet so I hope it's done when I do.

I understand it's been fixed already. This is merely for those who have already downloaded the file...

The folder name has got nothing to do with it, I'm afraid.

Can you upload a screenshot of the icons folder and its contents pls?

kamfai, both look perfectly fine.

I should release 8.01 in the coming days. Perhaps you can wait till then and see if the update sorts the issue out for you?

Ctrl+H is the shortcut for the Replace function. Just find its Mac equivalent.

Or you can wait for update pack 8.01 whose icons pack config will fix this issue

Mark,

I have checked the config file in my icon MP, in which they are all /icon but my main MP 180x180 images still seem blurry.

Any other ideas mate?

It's not an issue I am aware of tbh. Can you upload a screenie to display what you mean?

Yes mate.

So first one, is what the image looks like within the MP folder. Which is unblurred against what it looks like in game, blurred.

Then, screenshot is my MP icons config

Yes mate, using a custom skin.

I'm using ArtDekDok's panels and there's a similar issue. I believe it's due to the fact that the images are not displayed in 180x180, but in a slightly higher size, hence the slight fuzziness and loss in quality. I'm still looking around for a solution and will let you know when/if I manage to find it, but I would suggest you contact the skinmaker to see if he can suggest a solution or tweak to solve this issue. I think it's something quite simple like editing a particular value in a particular xml file, but I wouldn't know which and where
