What been your best memory..

For me it would have been getting York City in Fm11 from conference north to league one in 14 seasons. Yes 14 years it took me including three playoff defeats in a row but I got there and it wasn't that impressive as couldn't make it to championship or premier league but to me I will always smile when I think about tit.

Was quite proud of overhauling Guangzhou in China on FM14 with Shnadong as well, they had won something like 9 of the last 10 titles before I came along haha.

But no stupid achievements for me like dominating the world with Hemel Hempstead Town, i'm more about building my managers career from absolutely nothing to the best i can be, get bored being at one club for too long.

FM 2008, made Hearts the best side in Scotland and also got to the Semi-Finals of the CL within about 7 seasons i believe. Then took the Man Utd job but got bored and sadly that was the end of my game.

What a save that was mind, I remember it well. Inspired by Duffy IIRC?

mine is probably a strange one. Signed a new-gen kid with Eastleigh in the Conference and he ended up getting Ballon d'Or 8 years later when I signed him with AC Milan. Clearly all me.

I remember having an amazing save back on CM 03-04 where I took Barnet up through the leagues and won multiple Premier League titles against Man Utd, who had won 11 titles in a row. I had players like De Rossi and Stekelenburg but my main striker was some guy called Andrejs Perepļotkins. Got him for about £1m or £2m from Southampton and he scored over 700 goals in about 750 games. For some reason he just couldn't stop scoring, even though his stats weren't actually that good. I think I eventually sold him to Bradford when he got into his late 30's.

Just had a google and found that striker on Wikipedia, he is still playing but is in the Latvian second division.

Does losing the CL final in injury time on an incorrectly awarded penalty with Celtic count?

I took over Red Bull Salzburg on FM14 with the intention of making a) them the biggest side in Europe and b) Austria a high profile league.

I played about 25-30 seasons, won numerous Champions' Leagues and titles, World Club Cups and achieved my aim. But the real highlight of the game for me was signing Juan Agudelo who I had never heard of previously and watching as he just hit astronomical figures. I know it has since turned out that he was a bit of an FM14 legend, but that ridiculous relationship you build up with a player when you find them, you've never heard of them before and they turn into a genuine club icon for you.

A few Football Manager's ago I was attempting the British Steel Challenge and started with Ballymoney United in which I spent a few seasons before the Portadown vacancy became available as they were fighting against relegation iirc, I managed to turn them into relegation candidates to Premiership champions and beyond. We eventually turned professional and won everything 'senior' trophy possible and the Champions League twice.

We had an immense squad and I miss that save dearly.

I love redbull in austria. I always do a save aiming to do that but I'm not very good and all my players end up leaving for bigger clubs lol

Yeeeah I've had that happen a number of times as well! Every time I try one with my hometown team Plymouth Argyle I get to the Championship quite comfortably and then I just can't stop players getting poached.
