Is it normal to get serious injury (3-4 months for recovery) during training?

I m managing Arsenal, Santi Carzola (with condition and sharpness both>90%)suddenly got injuried during training after the beginning of the 1st season and predicted to be sidelined for 3-4 months....
Don`t you think it s totally ridiculous? It is acceptable that players could get serious injury during matches, but not during normal bloody training!!!?? so frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On this version of FM your players could probably put themselves out for a year by falling down the stairs at home, the injuries are out of control.

You do realise that players get injured in real life during training? It is entirely possible for that to happen, i've had stuff like that many times.

in fact injuries are more likely in training because you arnt as warmed up and on alert

A quick google search reveals that of 48 injuries which caused Manchester United players to miss matches in 2014, 15 were suffered in training. It is really common. I'm pretty sure there was a new signing at a Premiership club who did his ACL in one of his first training sessions this season - 8 months out easily.

Clubs have to undertake high intensity training in order to most accurately replicate game situations, so injuries are inevitable. FM actually quite accurately represents this I think.

*Danny Ings is the player I was thinking about, so not quite first training sessions of the season...*

Thx every bros~~ seems FM is a very realistic simulation game.. I think the only way to get rid of injury is to RELOAD the game when I am told my key player have to sideline for 4-5 months....

Could just deal with it instead of cheating, football teams have to deal with injuries why should it be different on a game? I've got 5 of my key players out injured right now, it's annoying but it's part and parcel of the game.

Yeah mate you dont need to reload just get on wth it its all part of the real world of football and every AI club in the game have the same thing happening to them as well.
