SSN showed footage of Giggs arriving at training this morning, which sent Twitter into overdrive as there wasn't any footage of LVG arriving, so everybody believes Giggs is taking training in the absence of LvG.

I still think LvG will be in charge for tomorrow's match.

First goal was offside in the buildup, second goal the defender was tripped, the other two were fine. Still though, Arsenal were shit.

From a designer point of view I really don't like the new Man City logo. The modern looking typeface annoys me, the whole thing looks really fan made and it looks too similar to the NY logo. They should have just brought back the 1972 one unchanged.

I think its a significant improvement, perhaps looks a little bit too old fashioned, but has got rid of all the stupid shit from the old one.

I'm not 100% sold on the new one but as I recall, there were copyright issues with the old one, that's why they changed to the eagle. This one ain't perfect but it's better at least.

Think they did fan polling and fans wanted a round badge.

I think the only real problem with it is the 'City' writing not following the curvature

but when compared to the other one with the Eagle being sick, the three non-sensical stars and what what I think is a mistake in the Latin its much better.

They did and the round badge was the overwhelming favourite.

That and having the shield above the circle. If they'd had Manchester City on the top and Football Club on the bottom all following the curve it'd make a big difference. Same with the shield not being above the crest.

As you say though, it's still not as stupid as the eagle.
