Morning all,

After a season and a half managing Oxford United (promotion first season, struggled second season, around 17th in December), I was offered the Norwich job in the Championship.

They were sat just above the relegation zone somehow, with a team as follows:

GK: Ruddy
DR: Gamboa
DC: Okore
DC: Matthew Connolly
DL: Olsson
DM: Tettey
DM: Mulumbu
AMR: Joel Campbell
AML: Brady
AMC: Howson
SC: Charlie Austin (!)

As you would expect, we managed to do well the second half of the season and finished 11th, 6 points off the play offs which seems like a good finish however it was disappointing that I took over so low and won so many games but still couldn't even manage the play offs.

Obviously, a large proportion of the players wanted to leave and had hefty "Non-Promotion" release clauses, and a lot of players left. Coupled with a hefty £22m transfer budget the following season, I currently have £35m in transfer budget available after making a few purchases, and the team currently looks as follows:

GK: Ruddy
DR: Gamboa
DC: Okore
DC: Matthew Connolly
DL: Olsson
DM: Tettey
DM: Conor Mcgrandles
CM: Howson
AMC: Zach Clough
SC: Van Wolfswinkel
SC: Jacob Murphy

Obviously Clough can play up top as well however I would like to strengthen the squad and you would think with £35m to spend this would be easy however nobody seems to want to drop to the Championship...

Any thoughts?

I found Ben Marshall from Blackburn was a great player on the game, right winger. Also Abel Hernandez from Hull scored for fun!

Look at Curtis Nelson from Plymouth Argyle. Can easily, easily make the step up to Championship level and look good doing it.
