Absolutely gutted for The Koch. This is his sixth time he has f*cked up his knee and he is only 25 years old. Unfortunately for me, I now only have two fit centre defenders until the transfer window reopens. Fuming.

Every match we play, we are expected to lose to to even win a game here and there is pleasing. We have had some terrible luck with injuries and unfortunately our shoestring budget has not been able to ensure we have enough depth to the squad. We have lost The Koch and Koroma at centre back, as well as The Macedonian Ronaldo breaking his ankle, Asmussen pulling his hamstring and Fetai breaking his toe. On paper, especially with our current injuries we currently have the worst team in the League by far. On paper, our side would probably struggle in the League below to be fair.
This season in the Danish Cup we are through to the Quarter Finals which is pleasing. I would love to progress in this competition but the League has to be our number one priority. I will update again at the end of this first stage.
Also, F*ck Copenhagen (they went on to batter us 4-0).

Unfortunately our win against our arch-rivals has actually put us on a run of terrible form recently. We do have the Danish Cup still to contend with as we have reached Semi Final of after beating Nordsjaelland on penalties. I forgot to screenshot and I don't have the game open at the minute but we face Randers FC in the Semi Final. In terms of our league form, we have been absolutely terrible recently. Obviously, it was fantastic to beat Copenhagen but we just seem to have collapsed for the time being which is very worrying.
This is how the league has ended up after the first stage:
We have now been split off into two groups. I am not too familiar on how this grouping process works but from what I can work out, we will face each side in our group twice. After playing these six matches, the bottom 2 sides of each group will go into their own Play Off. The winner of this Play Off will stay in the league, 2nd and 3rd place will enter a Play Off with two sides from Division One whilst the side who comes 4th will be automatically relegated.

We have found ourselves a new affiliate club in the shape of French side Evian. They are based in Ligue 1 but I don't have the French league as a playable nation so they hardly have any players. I will be looking to add a number of nations at the end of the season. I am unsure whether my laptop will be able to handle it but I would like to have some more players at my disposal.

By the looks of things, the reason we face Viborg is because they finished bottom in the other Relegation group whilst we came second bottom. If we beat Viborg, there is then a Final against the winner of the other Semi Final. I cannot decide who goes down as I thought Viborg would 100% go down as they had the lowest points. However I think, this is just a complete guess, that if you lose your Semi Final and then lose the 3/4 Play Off then you are automatically relegated. If you lose your Semi Final but win the 3/4 Play Off then you are in the Play Off against a side from the league below (like I was last season). If you win your Semi Final but then lose the Final then you also enter the Play Off with the sides from the league below. Finally, if you win both your games then you stay in the Division.
So, those rules may be completely wrong but my obvious aim is to win both my matches. Viborg are the worst team in the league so I should definitely be beating them over two legs. We still aren't on great form however but hopefully we can come away with a win. If we were to get relegated, I will be absolutely devastated. On paper our side will definitely struggle gain promotion back to the Superliga again next season but hopefully I will not have to deal with that.

Damn. Well this wasn't part of the script. We have given ourselves a lot to do in the next leg after a really poor display. In our biggest match of the season to date we just didn't turn up and deserved to lose. I am not too optimistic about the Second Leg but hopefully we can pull a performance out of somewhere. Last season we took 10 away fans to a match, this season 1000 of the Frem Army. This was an important f*cking game and we blew it.
Dreading the second leg.

Jesus Christ! We have done it, we are one game away from securing our place in the Superliga for next season. The win was down to a wonder show from 17-year old midfielder-come-striker Torben Olesen. He joined us in last seasons youth candidates and we earmarked as a key player for the future. I took the risk and re-trained him as a striker and it paid off with a fantastic performance and a performance that keeps our dream alive.
We face Vejile in the Final which is also two-legged. I am confident that if we play like we did against Viborg in the Second Leg that we can comfortably come away with a win. Then again it is a risk to be pinning all my hopes on a 17-year old. In our past meetings in the league we have lost on both occasions, lets hope we can have a change of fortune when we most need it.
Frem, Frem, Fremmmmm!

@Suffolk Seasider Is there any justice in the world? You remember that Lemar classic because I certainly do and yes there is Justice... Justice f*cking John. Justice John came off the bench to give us advantage into the second leg in a few days time. We went behind but managed to grab a goal back thanks to Ibrahim Koroma who has missed most of the season with a broken leg. Then Justice strikes with a tap in from two yards to gain us the win.
Also, some more HUGE news. The 'Frem Army' seems to be expanding. From the 10 fans who attended the Play Offs last season, we took 1000 to Viborg and have now taken 2000 to Vejle.

WE ARE STAYING UP SAY WE ARE STAYING UP! Despite being massive favourites for relegation and having by far the lowest wage budget in the league we have secured our place in the Superliga next season after we managed to win by two goals to one in the second leg. The Danish Theo bagged his 14th goal in the season capping off a remarkable rise through the league's for our 29 year old striker who had played Division Two football his whole life. Top scorer Edo Sarajcic scored his 16th of the season to secure us the win.
I am absolutely over the moon to have stayed up. The past three seasons have been remarkable in terms of the progress that this club has made. Staying in the league this season was vital for the future of this football club. If we would have been relegated it would of been a big, big struggle to get back into the Superliga. Our finances are the best they have looked since taking over at the club. Last season, at one point the finances were -£900k and we were £7k over our wage budget. If we would have been relegated we would of have to have sold all of our players and probably ended up going into administration. Look at the finances now:

Goalkeepers
Alexander Nybo was once again my starting keeper and I anticipate he will be for many years to come. He's 23 years old and I feel he can become one of the best goalkeepers in this league. He is in talks about signing a new deal now we have managed to stay up as last season he was flat out refusing. We also have 17 year old Thomas Pederson who looks like he could become quite a good keeper as well. I may look to play him in the Cup matches next season. No need for any changes in this department.
Defenders
In defence we did OK but I will definitely be looking to make some changes. At right back Danni Jenson was his same old reliable self but I will be looking to bring in an adequate back up as Haydar Said is pretty useless. At left back I am using the same left back as I had in Division Two and that needs changing for next season. Matthias Anderson and Dennis Cagara are both bang average players and should not really be playing at this level. At centre back, considering the injuries that we had we actually did quite well. Jonathan Vervoort and Nicolai Johannessen were my starting centre backs for the majority of the season after big injuries to The Big Koch and Koroma. I will be looking to bring in at least one new centre back, hopefully a player that can be a starter in my side. I have also decided that I will give Big Koch another chance despite missing the majority of the past few seasons with knee injures- He's like my very own Ledley King.
Midfielders
I forgot to mention previously but a month or so before the end of the season The Salami stated that he wanted to move to a bigger club. I tried to convince him to stay but he was having none of it and probably will be sold on in the Summer. I will be looking for one or two new centre midfielders because my current centre midfielders are probably not good enough for this level. Mathias Kristensen did well and I will be looking to bring him in permanently if I get a chance. The Salami obviously wants to leave and even though Thomas Asmussen did well, he still isn't really good enough. Kristian Anderson actually looks a good player and will be given more of a chance next season. In terms of wingers, Emre Mor was fantastic and hopefully I can bring him back here as well. The Danish Theo managed 14 goals and actually played the majority of this season at right wing. I will definitely be looking to bring in a few wingers over the Summer.
Strikers
My strikers actually really pleased me this season. Obviously we had The Danish Theo who played up top now and again but Edo Sarajcic really impressed me this season. In his first season in the top flight he managed to score 16 goals and got an average rating of 7.35. Torben Olesen is naturally a centre midfielder as I have said previously but he will playing as a striker for me next season. I am expecting big things from his over the next few seasons. Bajram Fatai was a disappointment and only managed one goal as well as complaining pretty much all season about his lack of football. Justice John wasn't much better but he did grab that all important goal in the Play Offs so I have definitely warmed to him more than Fetai. I will be looking to bring in maybe one of two strikers in the Summer as competition for Sarajcic and Olesen.
Fola
The end of season awards have been decided and top goalscorer Edo Sarajcic was named the fans' POTY. I can't really complain with that one as his goals were vital last season for us to stay in the league. Last season's POTY Danni Jenson came second whilst Mathias Kristensen won a few awards and I will definitely be looking at making his move permanent. He is capped regularly for the Danish Youth side so I doubt Esbjerg will want to get rid of him though.
Also our wonderkid Torben Olesen has signed a new deal to keep him at the club for the next three seasons. Like I said previously, I am looking give him a starting role next season and hopefully he can become a great here. He still has a lot of time to improve, I just hope he doesn't end up outgrowing the club but I will deal with that if the situation ever occurs.
Fola
Our budgets have been announced for next season and I am very, very pleased. Last season our Transfer Budget was £0 and our Wage Budget was £12.5k so obviously we have a massive increase on last seasons figures. If we managed to stay up last season with the shoestring budget we were given, we should definitely be looking to achieve better things with this budget. So I am looking to bring in players for the following positions: A back up right back, a starting centre back and left back, 2 new centre midfielders, 2 new wingers and 1/2 strikers. That is definitely doable with this budget.
I just hope that their expectations are not too unrealistic now. The future is bright, the future is Frem.

This just shows how important staying up was last season. We are going to have a struggle on our hands to stay in the league once again but if we can, the prize money for staying in this league is brilliant.
We are now playing in the 12th best league in Europe. Happy days. Denmark is on the up.

Happy days. My mission now is to find as many 15/16 year old African children to come over to Denmark, play in my youth side and then convert to Danish. Sounds a little bit odd but it is part of my vision. What a Fremtastic idea. I have deployed three of my scouts to Africa.
Also, f*ck Copenhagen (again).

Once again we are huge favourites to be relegated. In my opinion, this season will be much tougher than last season. Silkeborg and Hobro are the sides that came up and are both good quality sides. It will be a fight this season, I just hope I have strengthened well enough. Anywhere above relegation would be absolutely perfect.
The 'Frem Army' is expanding year on year. Copenhagen,we are coming for you.

Goalkeepers
1: Alexander Nybo - My starting goalkeeper and has been with me for the past two seasons. Signed a new four year deal in the Summer, has a great future in front of him.
13: Andreas Hanson - Joined this Summer as back up for Nybo. He was actually on loan here last season but failed to make an appearance. I will play him in the Cup matches as Pederson has gone out on loan.
Left Backs
3: Mathias Mejer - A new recruit who becomes our starting left back. He possesses great stats for an attacking left back- some call him a young Danish Ashley Cole. Been playing in the Danish lower leagues until now so a big chance for the lad.
12: Ryan Haynes - First of many English players who have joined the club on loan. Good stats for an attacking full back, will look to bring him here on a permanent if he impresses.
RIght Backs
2: Danni Jenson - Been at the club since I took over. All round fantastic attacking wing back. Will once again for a starter for this season. Really taken his chance in the top division.
4: Marco Lund - A new signing who offers competition of right back and centre back. Was captain of Skive in the division below.
Centre Backs
5: Jonathan Vervoort - Entering his third season at the club. Been subject of interest from a few Belgium sides but stays put for now.
15: Nicolai Johannessen - Was initially brought in as a back up last season but due to injuries, he played a but part for us. Young, Danish and a good back up.
6: Morten Koch - Spent the past two seasons out with knee injuries but I have stuck by him. He's our new vice captain.
25: Matej Podstavek - New signing from relegated Fredericia. Experienced centre back who will become a starting for us this season.
17: Ibrahim Koroma - Spent the majority of last season out with a broken leg. Will probably be a back up for this season unfortunately for him.
Centre Midfielders
18: Mathias Hebo - Our big money signing from relegated Fredericia. Capped for the Denmark under 21 side and a player I am quite excited about.
20: Adigun Salami - The Salami has been a big player for us for the past few seasons but has f*cked it now as he has asked to leave. Good quality player but will rot in the reserves until he is sold. Fola > The Salami.
8: Mathias Kristensen - Was on loan here last season and we've managed to bring him back. Will play a big part for us in the middle of the park.
16: Thomas Asmussen - One of my first signings at the club and was a regular last season. Unfortunately for him, I will be looking at other options this season.
10: Kristian Anderson - Played a bit part role last season but will be a starter this season. Ethiopian international.
23: Andre Dozzell - Joined on loan for the season from Ipswich. Technically gifted player, I just hope he can adapt to Danish football.
Right Midfielders
22: Jeppe Ostenkaer - The Danish Walcott and a player who has been my key man for the past three seasons. The club's record goalscorer and can also play up front.
7: Justice John - @Suffolk Seasider's favourite player and a bit of a legend for the Frem Army.
14: Beran Camili - Macedonian international winger and has been with us since the start in Division Two.
Left Midfielders
21: Emre Mor - Re-signed on loan for the season. Turkish under 21 international, one of our best players last season.
26: Andre Green - Signed on loan for the season from West Ham. Can play either wing and hopefully will be an asset in this league.
Strikers
9: Torben Olesen - Joined the club through our Youth Candidates two seasons ago. Re-trained as a striker and has been named as our Captain for the upcoming season despite our being 18 years old. I have big hopes for this lad. Mr Frem.
27: Jahmal Hector-Ingram - Signed on a season long loan from West Ham. Only 19 years old, hoping his pace can hurt teams in this league.
19: Bright Enobakhare - Signed on a season long loan from Wolverhampton. His composure isn't great but his finishing and pace make him a great back up.
11: Maazou - Top quality striker at this level. The season before last he scored 12 goals for Randers at this level. Racked up £6.25 million in transfer fees in his career. Coup.
24: Edo Sarajcic - Last seasons top goalscorer and been a consistent player since joining two seasons ago.
The season is about to start now and I will update you along the way. Thanks for the comment @Shedender, I can see this season being a real struggle. #VivaElFrem

Our success in this first stage of the season has been partly to one man and that man is Torben Olesen. I was worried at the start of the season that pinning all our hopes on an 18-year old who isn't even a natural striker would come back to bite me. Well, Olesen proved me wrong. The man was named Frem captain at the start of the season and he is slowly becoming a Frem great despite his age. He has scored fifteen goals so far and is currently the top goalscorer in the league. He has most recently been called up to the Denmark Under 21 squad and has recently signed a new four-year deal. He does have a clause in his contract that any club outside Denmark can purchase him for £875k. I am worried that this will happen sooner rather than later. For now, we just need to be happy that we have one of the brightest young talents in Denmark playing for our club.
At the moment, we are going into every game huge underdogs which has been great for my team. Nobody expects us to win anything so to sit where we are sitting now is really pleasing. We have a few more matches until the winter break where the lads will be going off to sunny Portugal. I am really worried that in January a club could come in for Olesen and we will lose him. If we can keep him until the Summer then I will be over the moon.
