Another win, win every other game and we'll be alright! We flew out the blocks against Swansea, three nil up in twenty three minutes, a brace from Thompson and one from Arter. A late from Race secured the win.
This is dismal, we're practically down already unless @Shedender works his magic in the transfer window. Only reaason I haven't left is the right job isn't about.
Came from 2-0 down to salvage a point at home to Watford, the first time I've not lost to them as Luton manager so it's somewhat progression. We remain at the foot of the table and nine points from safety.
It was a tale of three penalties - we scored ours and Bournemouth missed two as the game finished in a one all stalemate. Steve Newton scoring our equaliser from twelve yards after we had fallen behind once again and then also got fined £25k after picking up excess bookings and not for the first time this season. We deserved to win this!
If we had lost our next game, at home to Brighton, which we would've because this team is f*cking dreadful then we would've been sacked, I wasn't getting sacked so I decided to step down as Luton manager thus protecting our reputation somewhat. We're unemployed and no jobs are available at the moment.
And we're back into football management as Republic of Ireland is our next destination as we've been appointed the new manager of the current and reigning champions Cork City as their previous manager went to pastures new (Millwall, I think) and I thought this was too big an opportunity to turn down. Lets get back on the trophy haul.
At least we gave Luton a shot in the Premier League @TheMazzeRunner but it was always going to be a massive uphill task unfortunately. Cheers, Cork should hopefully get us a few trophies this season all being well.
An straight forward first game in charge at Cork saw us beat First Division side Cobh Ramblers 3-0 in the Munster Senior Cup quarter final as Derek Kenny hit a brace while an own goal was scored in between.
Trophy #1 has been chalked off in just our second game, Dundalk were beaten 3-1 in the President's Cup tie at Turner's Cross. Goals from Joe Turner, Ryan Bunce and Derek Kenny had us in complete control before half time but we couldn't build on the lead in the second half and allowed Dundalk a consolation but the trophy, bar a complete collapse, was already secured.
It's been a promising start to our reign at Cork City as I've guided the side to four wins from the opening four games and without conceding a goal in the process. Now it's up to @Dan to try and continue our start to the season but he's a few injuries (and a suspension iirc) to deal with but yeah, I can't complain too much with the start and hopefully it'll continue and we can rack a few more trophies off in Republic of Ireland.

Felt this was a game we could of won, instead we fell to a two nil home defeat.

Dan
We're not staying up this year, just hoping we can grab a new job before we get sacked!
Dan
If we score even 10% of our shots we would of won this one! annoying
Dan
Same old story, we had possession, shots, just couldn't score.
Dan
Tough, expected defeat, the start of four tough big games on the bounce.
Dan
league leaders blew us away
Dan
Creditable draw, could of won.
Dan
Richard Manning with the equaliser in the ninetieth minute despite us being down to ten men.

Had to come from behind (again) to progress in the FA Cup at home to the Championship leaders Birmingham.

No passion, no belief, no confidence, no balls. The side got 'assaulted' at Carrow Road, crashing 4-0.

Won our first game of the season as a double from Joe Breen gave us a deserved 2-0 win at home to Limerick.
Shedender
Needed three second half goals to progress to the next round of the League Cup as we made hard work out of second tier Waterford.
Shedender
Straight forward victory at home to Shelbourne to make it back-to-back victories in the league.
Shedender
We could've and perhaps should've scored more goals at Athlone but three wins out of three in the league can't be sniffed at.
Shedender
F*ck we made hard work out of beating basement club Cabinteely, Ryan Bunce bagged the winner on the hour mark.

A good start to my reign in Ireland. A three two win, we nearly blew it though. Costing two one up and three one up but we held on for three points.
Dan
A late draw secured away at St Patricks Athletic, happy enough with that.
Dan
Two nil victory over Dundalk saw us go back to the top and go eight unbeaten. our goals came through kenny and Bunce.
Dan
Not sure what went on here, a disappointing four nil defeat, hopefully we bounce back.
