Thanks again @DNZY , Nice to have at least one follower through this journey! It is indeed good to be climbing up the ranks with luton, but its also doing our reputation the world of good following a few years of disappointment.
An eight goal thriller which we eventually claimed a five three win over struggling Nottingham Forest here for my first game in the Championship under Luton. Manning sent us ahead before Forest netted three to lead three one at half time. After a big telling off, our team turned the tie with four second half goals coming from Eddie Scott hitting a hatrick and Liam Knight scoring.
Another big scoreline, five two, this time in our favor as we beat former employers Chesterfield who are continuing to fair well int eh championship. Our goals came through McDonald, Scott x2, Manning and Race.
Back to winning ways and back to second in the Championship as we beat Rotherham United away from home two one. Knight and Thomas struck for us before a late consolation for the hosts.
After two without a win it was important we beat struggling Coventry and we did with ease here. A strong three one win with goals from Kinght, Manning and Scott securing the points.
Thats better, beating Middlesbrough at home five two after being two nil down. We trailed them by two goals in twelve minutes. Then McDonald x2, Scott x2 and Thomas secured the big win.
Shame my final game ended in defeat as Sheffield United beat us two one. We did have the lead through Flynn, however an equaliser just before the break and a Hibbs goal four minutes from time saw the red side of Sheffield win the tie.
We're down to fifth but look how it is very close. Hull are the league leaders and three points ahead of us. Peterborough occupy the spot just outside the playoffs and are only two points behind us.
Glad this competition isn't important this season but ouch, Richard Manning had given us the lead at Bristol City in the FA Cup but then the side completely collapsed and the hosts deservedly progressed.
Managed to bounce back from that FA Cup disappointment, beating Leeds 3-1 at Luton Stadium. Richard Manning struck twice for us inside the opening quarter of an hour but Leeds then pulled a goal back around seven minutes before half time, Nigel Race's fifth league goal for Luton a minute before the hour mark sealed the points against the struggling Yorkshire men.
Crap in the first half, a lot better in the second half as Richard Manning equalised four minutes into the second half. Eddie Scott missed a penalty as we should've perhaps won the game at Luton Stadium. This draw (and Hull's defeat at Nottingham Forest) has somehow sent us to the summit but of course it won't last.
And this is perhaps the WORST performance either one of us have suffered in charge of the Hatters as Burnley destroyed us 4-0 at Turf Moor as we had a total of zero attempts on target which is completely unacceptable. We're going to need to bounce back and quickly as top spot has been lost now.

On the wrong end to a four nil thumping from Brentford.

We should be beating sides like Crewe, not drawing one a piece with them, especially after mustering up twenty three shots.

Seriously!? Sixty three percent possession, thirty four shots, we lose one nil, course we do.

Again 63% possession and twenty nine shots and we lose.

A bit win against third place Hull. Scott netting twice and McDonald also finding the back of the net.

Annoying draw here with Sheffield Unite. We were two one up with half an hour to play, however went on to draw three a piece.
Dan
Beating Sheffield Wednesday three one at home was a big boost for us. Campbell put the away side ahead before Scott, Brockbank and Race netted for us.

Scored seven goals when he was on loan w/ us in League One last season, he's cost £70k from Scottish side Partick.

Nigel Race's brace has given us a deserved win at second bottom Millwall.

Eddie Scott ended his goal drought in this single goal victory at St. Andrews.

I'm blaming myself for this home defeat against Newcastle, I shouldn't have tried to control the game. Oh well. You live, you learn.

I've played three games against Watford and lost them all. F*ck Watford!

Disappointed to have conceded so late on but also relieved to have gotten maximum points against Huddersfield at Luton Stadium.

Back to winning ways after a deserved 3-1 victory at home to struggling Nottingham Forest as Louis Aldred, Nigel Race and Eddie Scott found the net.
