This should please @Shedender, after Limerick dumped us out the League Cup, we got our own back, claiming the Munster Senior Cup with a two nil win in the final!
I also threw our name into the big vacancy we've been waiting for, TNS, who haven't lost a title yet, have gone seperate ways from their old manager so I thought it made sense applying, we will need to come back to the Irish top tier anyway as we went out the League Cup, so wouldn't be a big issue leaving so soon without the top tier title. @Shedender will have the response from the interview.
Very good games with Cork City only 1 point behind from the 1st place...About TNS it's your decision of course but i know that even if you leave Cork it won't be a big issue
Oh indeed @Parker26 we've waited almost sixteen f*cking years for this opportunity in Wales.
Didn't want to leave Cork as quickly as we did but when the TNS job became available @Dan had no choice but to apply for the job as it's one that barely becomes available. We've signed a two year deal but I'm confident we'll be able to leave Park Hall after one season. As part of the contract we have had to agree to four philosophies - sign players that match the club's nationality, sign high profile players, sign young players for the first team and the most important one in my opinion, play attacking football.
Good man, lets boss through Wales, hopefully with any luck its a one season wonder, TNS have dominated (as expected) before our reign and we had to go for the job.
Which means we'll balls it up @Dan and end up getting the chop!
Yes we don't care about this competition but it's always nice to pick up a win in your first game in charge as we beat Andorraian's Santa Coloma 5-1 in the second qualifying round of the Champions League - Lee Crammond bagged a treble while substitute Rhys Davies bagged two and will start the return leg in Andorra.
Easy second leg success against the Albanian's. Dinamo Zagreb await in the play-off round so our European adventure is coming to an end - hope they don't destroy us over the two legs and damage our confidence too much.
Dan
#ThatBounceBackAbility. A dominant showing saw us this time secure a four nil victory. Ryan Bunce went on to net a superb hatrick.
Dan
Back to back four nil wins, dominant showing in the cup as expected.
Dan
Annoying we only picked up a point here, nil nil.
Dan
Through to the League Cup Quarter Finals following this convincing three nil display in the Second Round.
Dan
We're in some good form, it continues with this narrow three two win, we nearly blew a three nil lead built up after just sixteen minutes.
Dan
Narrowly does it, but its enough one nil.
Dan
Three nil win over Shelbourne, another strong showing as we remain top of the pile and a point clear.
Dan
Comprehensive win, Cabinteely were down to ten men after twenty eight minutes, we dominated and could of scored more.
Dan
Out the league cup, awful showing from us.
Dan
Again a struggling performance from us, we stay top though.
Dan
Big win in the Senior Challenge Cup, beating Bonagee United four one, we battered them, they scored with their only shot.

Dan
Dominant showing again and against a team of Sligos quality, really had them on the back foot.
Dan
Poor end to my reign a six goal, three all draw. All six goals came in the second half and we had to settle for a point.
We're down to third but its tight between the top three of us, just a point from the top, league leaders Dundalk.

Goodbye Cork, quite enjoyed my time there.

First signing has been made as Jon Page has joined the club on a season loan from Chesterfield.

Unless he ends up becoming a Jamaican international, this chap will be our first choice shot stopper. On loan from Dagenham.
Shedender
Never in doubt against the Andorra side.
Shedender
At least we got an away goal, expect us to progress now but won't be too bothered if we don't.

Spunked just shy of thirty grand on a new midfielder, hope he's worth it.

Looks like we're heading out of the Champions League, not too bothered though.

It's an opening day WPL win as we've defeated Airbus 3-1 on our travels, a brace from Chris Forbes helping us on our way.
