Cheers pal. I was more surprised at how poorly PSG played rather then how well we done. Great achievement in my first season.
I've also done my transfer business for my second season in charge of Real Madrid . . .
In:
Andrija Zivkovic - Partizan - Free
Alvaro Morata - Juventus - £21.5m (buy back fee clause)
Timo Horn - Koln - £6.5m
Juan Mata - Manchester United - £70m
Aymeric Laporte - Manchester United - £60m
Ki Sung-Yeung - Chelsea - £4.8m (signed to potentially 'boost' shirt sales in South Korea)
Federico Valverde - Penarol - £3.6m (was already arranged, may never actually play for us)
Mario Balotelli - Liverpool - £9.5m (was desperate for a back-up striker, obvious much?)
Out: (major ones only)
Karim Benzema - Manchester United - £70m
Casemiro - Arsenal - £32.5m
Denis Cheryshev - Zenit St. Petersburg - £2.5m
Pepe - Tottenham Hotspur - £1m
Alvaro Arbeloa - Newcastle United - £775k
I've already won the European Super Cup this season as we beat Tottenham on penalties but we completely battered them and perhaps should have won it inside the ninety minutes but a goal in stoppage time from I believe Dele Alli denied us but we beat them on spot kicks. We also won the Spanish Super Cup with an easy enough victory (4-0 on aggregate) against Valencia while, as expected, we've had a promising start to the season including a 7-0 win at home to Espanyol - Alvaro Morata bagging four goals and Cristiano Ronaldo a treble in his first game back since the Olympics.
Don't know if we're going to retain the Champions League this season but we'll give it a damn good go.

Wow, why did he cost so much?
Shedender
No idea but it's the lowest they would accept for him and he counts as a home grown player as he was on Real's books before. No brainer.
VP.
Lewandowski managed 48 goals in 49 games, 38 of those in the league. Bale has now left as was massively injury prone and didn't perform as well as i'd have expected, he was part of the deal to bring Neymar in.
Shedender
Ahead of my third season I have agreed deals to bring in left back David Alaba, striker Ayoze Perez and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois as I look to get back our title while I'm still looking at adding and selling players including James Rodriguez as I really want to give Martin Odegaard more game time this season - has made just eighteen starts since joining the club but that means I'd need to stop playing Gareth Bale (more regularly) and he bagged 22 goals last term.

I'm thinking I'll probably only stay at Man City this one season, I've struggled a bit to motivate myself, probably because our succession game is also in the premier League so plan to leave this summer. Mid february now and I'm second in the PL but can go top with my game in hand. Went out the Capital One CUp Third round on Pens to Hull. Out the CL group stage so went into Europa League, first knockout round we face Real Madrid, lost 1-0 away.
Still in the FA Cup.

I could've ended up at Manchester City myself whenever they sacked Pep Guardiola but decided against applying.
On the Martin Odegaard situation, instead of giving him more game this season (mainly because I couldn't get James Rodriguez to depart the club - he turned down Bayern Munich) I've decided to let him depart the club on a season long loan deal and he heads to Monaco. They've 'promised' to give him regular first team football in the AMR role, I hope they do.

Anyway, I wanted to show the most 'FM-like' situation has just happened
We get destroyed 5-1 and 3-0 by the two rivals for the league, but then we obviously beat one of the best teams in the world...
Dan
Champions League - Third in group stage
Europa League - First Knockout Round
Capital One Cup - Third Round
FA Cup - Sixth Round
Premier League - Winners
IF I stay, the board have agreed to give me a £224million warchest for the summer.

My trophy cabinet looks like this as I head into the 2021/22 season, just about to play liverpool in the Community Shield, not a big trophy but would be happy to add it to the collection as I decided to stay at City, only a couple jobs came up that interested me, Roma, who lost the title to Inter and PSG.
My first summer to stamp authority on the transfer window, plenty of outgoings saw me increase the transfer budget as we sold fifteen players, totally £123million to the budget.
Went a little wild this summer on the buyings and spent the money, afterall, its what this save is all about, enjoying it and actually spending it for once, rather than my usual, be crude with money. Happy with the captures this summer, Neymar best live up to his £100million transfer fee, cheapest I could get him.
Here is the squad I now have at Manchester City, if anyone wants any screenshots of players or anything else just ask. Happy with what I've got, hoping they will be built on over the year.

70Mil for mate is expensive, 100Mil for neymar is expected
Shedender
I believe they actually wanted over £100m for Juan Mata and I wasn't having it. They settled for £70m and wouldn't go lower. Would love to have Neymar at Real Madrid but it's pretty obvious Barcelona wouldn't sell him (or he'd be interested) or Eden Hazard but don't want to pay over the odds although Cristiano Ronaldo is getting on a bit and will need replaced in two/three seasons.

Picked up Hazard for £525k at Barcelona the summer that I left them after the Spanish Super Cup, just looked, hes now worth £32.5million, good business there.
Shedender
And now the question needs to be asked, how the fuck did you get Eden Hazard so cheap?
Tommo.
Now on deadline day and I've got a £20M + £5.75M over 12 months + £5.25M after 50 league games offer from Arsenal for Cook. He's currently valued at £14M. I'd have to replace him and looking at Ajer whose clause is £7.25M but Cook was one of my better players last season
Parker26
Any chance I could see the tactic you used? In need of one in my own save, and this one clearly did you well
Tommo.
Mainly played a 4-1-2-2-1 with counter mentality, Retain possession, Look for overlap, hit early crosses and be expressive
A lot of my goals came from full backs overlapping and putting crosses into a big man striker. Occasionally at home id swap the CDM out for a CAM

We also had a great run in the FA cup, reaching a Wembley semi-final against Manchester United;
Back in the Premier league we have fared ok, some solid performances so far have us sitting exactly where I hoped we would in a nice solid mid-table position as well as having reached the last eight in the League cup.
Here is my squad;
GK: Asmir Begovic, Martin Stekelenburg, Viktor Johansson
RB: Keiran Trippier, Chris Solly, Jonjoe Kenney
CB: Andre Wisdom, Adrian Mariappa, Nathan Baker, Mike Williamson, Easah Sulliman
LB: Neil Taylor, Paulo De Ceglie
CM: Ben Watson(C), Tom Carroll, Carlos Sanchez, Leandro Bacuna, Gary Gardner
RW: Adama Traore, Jack Grealish
AM: Zach Clough, Carles Gil
LW: Scott Sinclair, Gabby Agbonlahor
ST: Pierre-Michael Lasogga, Danny Ings, Jordan Ayew, Chuba Akpom, Rushian Hepburn-Murphey

Had only made three signings during the summer as Thibaut Courtois has joined from Chelsea for £30m, Ayoze Perez arrived from Newcastle for £25.5m and was mostly used as a back-up option for Alvaro Morata while our big money signing saw David Alaba join from Manchester City for a whopping £60m and he was excellent at full back while our major departures saw Fabio Coentrao (Benfica - £12.25m), Keylor Navas (West Ham - £10.25m), Jese (Levante - £8m), Ki Sung-Yeung (Everton - £5m) and Kiko Casilla (Bordeaux - £3m) all leave the club on a permanent basis while the likes of Lucas Silva, Borja Mayoral, Andrija Zivkovic and Martin Odegaard left the club on loan to try and get experience.
I've got £256m to spend but apart from looking at a left winger as Cristiano Ronaldo is almost thirty three, I don't know who else to sign.
Parker26
We have just played them again. Try and guess the score, bearing in mind I am Sporting CP...
Dan
Man united won 3-0?
Parker26
5-0... We had 4 clear cut chances, and they failed to create one. That ends our slim hopes of progression, and even Europa League as Monaco beat Juventus
Shedender
The major departures this window as James Rodriguez (Wolfsburg - £44m), Danilo (Dortmund - £20m), Lucas Silva (Leicester - £12.5m), Mario Balotelli (Derby - £12m) and Toni Kroos (Manchester United or Chelsea - £46m) leave while Martin Odegaard has joined A.C. Milan on a season loan.
Had applied for the England and Germany posts but was automatically unsuccessful in both of them. F*ck that.
Hull are currently fifth in the Championship so we will be favourites, especially with the first leg being at Villa Park.
We're currently on a good run, undefeated in seven games in all competitions.
This has put us in a good position in the league, well clear of relegation troubles;
Surprising to see Chelsea doing so badly on FM even if they haven't had the best season in real life.
