They were both fucking awful.
Wilshere's short passing was absolutely dreadful, and he looked right off the pace.
Henderson is just a terrible footballer.

The only new starter that could come out of that game with his head high was Clyne who was brilliant, would have rather seen him than Walker from the start of competition but Walker has done well so not much of a difference really. Just feel Clyne has more quality when in the final third. Sturridge and Wilshere just strolled about seemingly uninterested at times and when Sturridge did get the ball he appeared to try and dribble through the whole Slovakian team. Henderson puts in plenty of running but due to the steel toe caps he seems to have in his boots he's unable to control, pass or shoot a ball with any accuracy what so ever. Vardy had nothing to feed off other than that one chance where he should have scored and Bertrand was sadly rather shit too. No idea why he wasn't on corners though as he takes them for Southampton and has a decent left foot, we may have actually got the ball passed the first man then.

Our main problem is that we have absolutely zero creativity going forward so if a team wants to sit in and defend they can quite comfortably knowing that it'll probably take a mistake or a shot from distance for us to score.

Henderson was shite (understatement), my soon to be two year old thinks that the point of a football is to kick it as hard as you can in the general direction you're facing and I saw her game reflected in Henderson's last night. The only positive is that he tried to have some influence and go forward, whereas England's Pirlo a.k.a. Wilshere was forgetful at best. Especially in the first half, I can't comment too much on the second half as I actually nodded off watching it!

Not finishing top of the group has ruined our chances now anyway, if we manage to get past a poor Group F runner up then we potentially play France followed by Italy/Germany. Not the easiest half to be in!

We needed to take Dier off as soon as we had them pinned after 70 mins. Drop Wilshere deeper then had whoever in front. Slovakia offered absolutely no threat and had no intentions of going forward.

It's a reason why Arsenal were so wank at home against shite teams because we had Coquelin playing who was completely un-needed.

Wilshere should not have even played... Don't understand how Milner, Barkley and Rashford weren't involved even off the bench. I think Milner and Barkley could have started ahead of Lallana and Wilshere.

But lets be honest. This England team is just made up of 23 decent players, and most wouldn't make in the big national teams. There just isn't enough quality in this side. Sure, the young players have potential but with someone like Hodgson in charge they would never fully reach it.

Can't see England making it to the Semis.

Would be tempted to stick Clyne as starting winger - just to try and get some sort of natural width.

England's biggest problem is Hodgson has picked a disastrous 23. One pure holding midfielder, one winger, no 'controlling' midfielders, 4 central strikers - three of whom are very similar, several 'number 10's' when we don't play with any. What is the benefit of having Wilshere, Henderson and Milner on the bench at the same time? What possible football scenario calls for that

Chris Coleman has been historically poor manager, but at least he decided how Wales can play to their strengths and picked 23 players according to that plan.

Anyone else watching the Croatia v Spain game? Just seen some great justice...Croatia player dived but no penalty, Silva dived and Spain got a penalty. Saved by the Croatian keeper, tho he arguably set off towards the ball at the same time as Sergio Ramos who was taking it

No that isn't possible. Wales can only play Albania, Norn Iron or Turkey as far as I can see now.

The chances of Portugal facing England in the last 16 are only 1 in 9 so wouldn't worry too much England fans. You'll get Hungary or Iceland. It's just you've messed up being in that half of the draw now.

Only 1 combination of results out of 9 that can happen though I believe, so the odds are unlikely.

Bar a miracle, it looks like we'll be playing France on Sunday w/ a 2pm kick off.

It's been a memorable, maybe not as enjoyable (being outplayed by Poland and Germany) but no one cares. I'm hoping we can cause a monumental upset and progress to the quarter finals - can't see it personally but you never know in football.

Why are we moaning about being in the 'bad' side of the draw? We're going to have to play them teams eventually anyway, what difference does it make if we get knocked out in last 16 or quarters.
