I would like to emulate as close as possible my 3D kits, to the 2D template as possible, I would love it for the experts to help me accomplish this. It can be done because they were created in the first place, * the 2d templates in FM16 editor *. Which I will show you a screenshot and then compare the 3D kit that I made personally, not in photoshop sadly.
Note...I do not wish to edit any 3D templates for kits, ONLY 2D.
Kindly respond, asap

I did some research and I'm back to make an edit here...I think I actually found a way but this guy uses a mac, not sure but hopefully I can find a way to interpret this to my pic but I don't use steam.
I could still use a little assistance. Since " Resource Archiver " isn't on my pc...Or at least, as far as I know.

You can download the Resource Archiver in Steam. Go to Library --> Tools --> FM16 Resource Archiver.

As for the rest of your request, I wonder if @hammer9 can help here?

First off, I want to thank you for the reply, I'm very new to the site...only joined today.
Secondly...I have never used Steam in my life, I don't even think I have it on my pc, is Steam the only means by which I can edit the 2d templates?
The guy who made that is also using a MAC & I heard, that the process on the mac system is completely different to the pc.
E.g he talks about going into " Open up the Resource Archiver. Select Extract Archive in te lower right corner of the screen. The file we want to extract is in this folder (on my mac):

computer/library/application support/Steam/steamapps/common/Footballmanager 2015/data/ ".
Will this be equalivent to " C:\Users\DavidPC\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016 ". It cannot be-because there is no " Data " in there, I found the FMF file in another directory and copied it to the new folder but that was clearly wrong.
I am sorry for being such a noob, kindly bare with me...

You must have used STEAM to install the game? Only way you can.

The process is the same just that files are located in different places.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2016\data - is what you should be looking for, the files are sorted in your hard drive.

As for editing 2D Templates, I don't have much idea bar you can using Photoshop or GIMP but would recommend speaking to @hammer9

Sorry I think I was misunderstood...I did not install FM via Steam, this is the first time I've ever used it.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2016\data...Inside this folder is only a folder name " sourcemods " and library folder.vdf file, I apologize for the stress but nothing ever works without problems for me it seems..
I've also search Steam for FM16 Resource Archiver.
It always says...We've come up empty. :/
Kindly help a nigga lol :'(

And I think you misunderstand too, you cannot play Football Manager without installing it via Steam.

Lol well before I downloaded the actual Steam...Which was tonight.
It was never on my computer prior.
I saw one folder with the name but it was empty...
That's weird int it then?

In anycase, I appreciate all the help above...I have downloaded some kits from the site but still haven't found a way to custom make the 2D template in Fm Editor...I won't give up tho, I know you folks here are experts...I just pray you bare with the newbie.

I didn't it was given to me...and the copy didn't even require an installation, the files were pre-existent, already in a folder.
I was shocked that it worked but I've never had a problem with it.
All I had to do was get the crack fix, for the names issue.
Is this a site for person's who only bought the game?

I'm sorry, but as part of our SI affiliate site status, we just can't condone anybody who openly admits they are using a pirated version of the game, as Suffolk Seasider said.
