Why do I always see people saying they can't/couldn't be "asked" rather than arsed? Is that just a bunch of cunts spelling it wrong after hearing it in real life or is replacing arsed with asked an actual phrase? Up there in things that annoy me the most.

It's the same issue North Americans have with the phrase "I couldn't care less". They've heard and read the incorrect variant so many times that they presume it's the correct one.

I'd say it was harder to believe that the world was actually going to end, but if that's what you want to take from that image, then fair play.

Well of course, but the whole Nostradamus thing is basically one huge cluster fuck of stupidity.

The only reason that the Nostradamus thing was even put on that image is because of this myth that he predicted 9/11. Which in itself is a load of shite.

9/11 wasn't the first time people took Nostradamus too seriously. If you read his predictions, they're either incredibly generally or strangely specific but in a way that people can take it all as metaphor.
