Seen we didn't have one of these as of yet, so here we go.
--

There is talk that Hulk wants to leave Zenit already, he's apparently been getting abusive chants from his own fans and monkey noises directed at him during games.

I think Dick Advocaat said about 3 years ago that when he was the coach of Zenit he actually needed to consult the fans before selecting a black player, so wouldn't surprise me if this was true.

Dark skin, plus Zenit fans thought their club pay too much (which I think the same too) for him.

Russian (or okay, Eastern & Central European) fans are weird. In Slovakia they almost beat up their own players just because they are last in the table, in Russia they hate Hulk (how can somebody hate Hulk? ) ... Well, happens.

I know I am quite late, but HESKEY IS IN JETS?! I knew he went to Australia and stuff, but I was not interested in other info. And he is in the only club from Australia I ever managed in FM?

AFC Champions League semi-finals next week.
Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia) vs. Al-Ahli (Saudi Arabia)
Bunyodkor (Uzbekistan) vs. Ulsan Hyundai (South Korea)

Lack of Japan I'm cheering on Bunyodkor for the Uzbek novelty.

CAF Champions League semi-finals currently being played.
First leg:
TP Mazembe (DR Congo) 0 - 0 Esperance ST (Tunisia)
Sunshine Stars (Nigeria) 3 - 3 Al-Ahly (Egypt)

I think I want to see more African club football- I've only really caught glimpses of the CAF-CL and watched the ACON, real talents around.

OFC and CONCACAF CL's both in early stages, and the Copa Libertadores was of course won by Corinthians. Copa Sudamericana is where it's at now.

Anyone see the MLS West semis on ESPN last night? LA vs San Jose? Pretty funny.

Apparently SJ have scored 10 goals this season in 90+ plus and 20 or so from 75 mins onwards or something daft like that. Never have I seen a team dominate a half in terms of possession as LA did. Free kick in the 94th minute from SJ, possibly the shittest goal you can concede as a defensive wall and as a keeper.

Zenit fans want all-white, non-gay team

I know racism in Eastern Europe is not exactly breaking news, but things like this just heap more damage on the reputation of the sport which has taken quite a battering in the last few years.

Unfair dismissal..

I bet there wasn't a bang chairman's wife clause in his contract.

It's Greece. Just being a football coach is grounds for dismissal.

Good game at Westfalenstadion at the moment. Hamburg are 2-1 up after 30 mins. and Lewandowski just got sent off for kicking down Skjelbred, who were lucky to not break his leg again.
