I suggest everybody clicks the "Notify me when updated" button to receive an email when the file is updated/amended in the future.
This file will need to be re-applied if/when patches/updates are released and when the full game comes out to ensure full compatibility. This is due to the fact that some files which are removed when installing this file are automatically re-installed by Steam when official patches come out.

Finally, it includes a small file which corrects the 3-Letter competition names to correspond with any changes made in the lnc files. To make sure the files have been applied correctly, go to the Champions Cup and EURO Vase in your saved game, and they should be renamed to Champions League and Europa League respectively. If you are in the middle of a save-game, German national teams will be populated in the next instance that players are called up, and not instantly.

I installed the game and installed all the files as instructed above before starting a new game but german club names and spanish club names are incorrect. I am playing FMT so i dont know if that makes a difference.

I believe any editor data files will disable leader-boards, but I stand to be corrected. Not much else that can be done from my end, I'm afraid.
The game must be installed somewhere, so they're definitely somewhere on your system. Do a search on your hard-disk for files with extensions of .dbc or .lnc

Once you start a save game, any changes you make to editor data files are not taken into consideration in that save, so don't worry about that. I can't really help you much with android tablet file installation as I quite simply don't play the game in that manner

I have tried the workaround in FMT and it doesn't change any of the club names. Also in notepad I had to replace #"CLUB not #CLUB although it didn't make any difference. Do you think there will be a solution for people playing FMT or will we be stuck with the fake names? Thanks for your help

Can you send me the amended lnc file please? Because if you make the changes properly, I was under the impression they worked in FMT too. Also, did you put the same file in the 1700, 1701 AND 1710 lnc folders?
That's got nothing to do with this file, I'm afraid, since the only German club licensing restrictions in the game are related to the names and not to the players at German clubs. If you use a smaller database and/or don't have the German leagues loaded, then it stands to reason that reserve teams in Germany will not have any players loaded

Mons. The FIFA World Player Award that is in the game never has a winner. I sent my manager on holiday for ten seasons and the award has never been won

With your file i have a save with 4 world awards:
ballon d'or - only a winner is chosen, no 2nd or third place
fifa world team of the year - working as you would expect
fifa world player of the year - no player has ever won this award in game. last winner 2009
world soccer magazine player of the year - 1st 2nd and 3rd places
Without your file (vanilla version of game, no added files):
world golden ball (ballon d'or) - 1st, 2nd and 3rd places,
world team of the year (fifa world team of the year) - working as you would expect
word player of the year (world soccer magazine player of the year) - 1st, 2nd and 3rd places
In the vanilla version of the game there is only 3 world awards, your file has 4. The vanilla version has no award named FIFA World Player of the year.
I may be wrong here but your file seems to have added the FIFA World player of the year award which is not working correctly and changed the way the ballon d'or is ranked.

I have not added any awards whatsoever to the game; all I did was rename awards already existing in the database through the lnc file

Not really, it's just the case that the author wanted to retain the "rights" to the file and that he felt these would be lost if they were included as part of this download.
