Don't really see why RVP should be off, he was a bit of a nob but didn't raise his arms or out.

He wasn't even looking at him. If he got a yellow RVP definitely deserved a red.

I suggest you watch it again because Williams has started his motion of kicking the ball clear before the whistle is being blown, it's not intentional and Van Persie reacts by grabbing him and going head to head with him, he's lucky to have only got a card for it.

Grabbing another player by the shirt and putting your head that close to theirs could be classified as violent conduct.

Lets lighten things up a bit, here's the best accidental assist of the year;

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson: "We absolutely battered them and we are very unlucky. It really should have been a foul for us in the build-up to their goal. It was just one of those games, he is a young referee, but really, what a performance.

"It should have been six point gap today and that is the disappointment. Vidic did not have much to do but what he did do he did well.

"Robin van Persie is lucky to be alive. It was a disgraceful act from their player today and he should be banned by the FA. Robin could have had a broken neck."

Fucking hell

HE COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!!!

I'm more annoyed about us not getting a free kick right before Michu equalised. Similar feeling of injustice when Young's goal was disallowed against City.

Has Fergie finally gone senile? What on earth is he on about, Williams was clearly clearing the ball and just shanked it into VP's head. Is he just focussing the media attention back to the referee so as to remove any questions as to why they couldn't beat little old Swansea?

RVP did overreact, definitely. But I'd be pissed off too getting hit the head.

Fergie's comments are just ridiculous. As was his decision to bring on Giggs and Scholes YET AGAIN.
