I rejected that one cos it's no good either.
The below are the guidelines given for making good improvement requests.
- The bigger and clearer the image, the better.
- Ideally, the person is looking at the camera and has a clear background.
- Unless necessary, avoid action images.
- Just because a source image is more recent than that in the MP does not automatically mean it's an improvement. It's better to have a slightly older image in the MP if it is of better quality.
- Ask yourself, is it really an improvement to the existing MP image? If it's the same face and hairstyle with just this season's new kit, it's probably just an alternative.

It's up to you where you get the requests from; it's you who's making the request after all. Google Images does help sometimes, but at other time it just gives sources such as this which are not ideal.
I don't think I've seen a lot of action image source requests, recently, either.

- Unless necessary, avoid action images. Action images are really hard to cut as the player's face is rarely in an optimal position and the background is often dark, which is very hard to get decent hair details from.
