Why can't I find players on FM that's supposed to be in the DB?

Hi all,

First of all I haven't played FM in three years so excuse me if this is a dumb question. I just downloaded the latest Data updated but there's a lot of players in the lower divisions in Sweden that I can't find. But I find them when I search the DB here on sortioutsi. Do I do anything wrong?

Thanks. But I play with large database but still cant find the players... Any other tips?

When choosing the database dimension, just choose custom and then choose the divisions you want to load.

The database here on sortitoutsi is the whole of the FM database. If memory serves, there are around 500,000 persons in the FM database. Should they all be loaded in your save game, FM would be very slow indeed as it would have to simulate data for all of them all the time.

When you start a new game, you have the option to select the database size and the countries and leagues you load. These choices will affect the amount and selection of players loaded in the save game. If, for example, you don't choose any Asian leagues, you will by default not have lower-league low-profile players loaded. Similarly, if you don't have the Swedish lower divisions and/or all Swedish players loaded, then it is unlikely that real lower-league players will be visible in your save game.
