Well, the first qualifying rounds have been drawn and there's a couple of interesting ties. TNS play Europa in a sort of all British tie, and if Linfield overcome their first round opponents they get to play Celtic in the next round which would be a great game. Dundalk will hope for another good run but face a tricky tie against Rosenborg.

Draw in full:

Champions League first qualifying round

Vikingur (Faroe Isles) v Trepca '89 (Kosovo)

Hibernians (Malta) v Tallinn (Estonia)

Alashkert (Armenia) v Santa Coloma (Andorra)

The New Saints v Europa (Gibraltar)

Linfield v SP La Fiorita (San Marino)

Champions League second qualifying round

Group 1

Apoel (Cyprus) v Dudelange (Luxembourg)

Zalgiris (Lithuania) v Ludogorets Razgrad (Bulgaria)

Qarabag (Azerbaijan) v Samtredia (Georgia)

Partizan (Serbia) v Budućnost Podgorica (Montenegro)

Hibernians (Malta) or FCI Tallinn (Estonia) v Salzburg (Austria)

Group 2

Sheriff (Moldova) v Kukes (Albania)

Astana (Kazakhstan) v Spartaks Jurmala (Latvia)

BATE Borisov (Belarus) v Alashkert (Armenia) or FC Santa Coloma (Andorra)

Zilina (Slovakia) v Copenhagen (Denamrk)

Hapoel Beer-Sheva (Israel) v Budapest Honvéd (Hungary)

Rijeka (Croatia) v The New Saints or Europa (Gibraltar)

Group 3

Malmo (Sweden) v Vardar (Macedonia)

Zrinjski (Bosnia and Herzegovina) v Maribor (Slovenia)

Dundalk (Ireland) v Rosenborg (Norway)

FH Hafnarfjördur (Iceland) v Víkingur (Faroe Islands) or Trepça '89 (Kosovo)

Linfield or SP La Fiorita (San Marino) v Celtic

IFK Mariehamn (Finland) v Legia Warszawa (Poland)

I'm assuming Linfield vs Celtic on 12th July will be moved should Linfield make it to the second round.

It'll probably be played on the 11th night but even then it should perhaps be moved for the week after.

Thought they just wanted to play it earlier in the day?

There's talk of a 5pm or 5:30pm kick off on the 11th but would that not be up to UEFA, both clubs agreeing and the police?

Why are they trying to move the game exactly? I'm lost?

Religion essentially. July 12th in Belfast is Orangemen's Day aka a Protestant celebration, majority of Glasgow Celtic fans would be Catholic.

The day before is probably just as 'dangerous', it's the day that the knuckle dragging scum go out, get wankered and light their bon-fires.

Turns out there won't be any Celtic fans there officially anyway...

Definitely not officially.

An absolute joke Celtic withholding tickets for 'safety' concerns, my mortage is on Lawell not wanting our 'good reputation' tarnished over there and that's the main reason why they're withholding the tickets.

So, a couple of first leg fixtures played already.

TNS fell to a disappointing defeat against Gibraltan side Europa, losing 2-1 at home. The highlights are on the BBC for people in Britain.

Elsewhere, Linfield scored late on to snatch a 1-0 victory and give them the advantage. Can't help but feel there are a lot of police hoping they lose the second leg!

Well there we have it, Linfield held on to a goalless draw and will reap the 'reward' of playing Celtic in the next round.

TNS pulled off a decent comeback to win their fixture against Europa and also progress to the next round.

Purchased a ticket for Friday's Champions League game and I'm looking forward to it even though Celtic should comfortably win.

Celtic play Rosenborg in the first leg of the third qualifying round tonight, last of the British teams standing from those who entered earlier.

0-0 FT, Celtic would have been hoping for better.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva with a great win yesterday! Hopefully they can do the job next week as well.

When is the Play-Off draw?

Dembele out till September. Griffiths also out, not as long but is 50/50 for next week.

Awful result, but taking a look at past European qualifiers we've always conceded 1 at home which has always fucked us over and put us on the back foot away, only positive I can take.

Our away form is dreadful in Europe, especially in the qualifying rounds. I can't see us grabbing a win, if anything a score draw will put us through.

Were the better side throughout, it's great we won away, especially against a team half way through their season when we haven't even kicked ours off yet!

Hapoel Be'er Sheva were so close to getting knocked out... 3-1 loss away from home. Very lucky, will probably get smashed in the playoff!

So Celtic face the Romanians Astana, and Liverpool play Hoffenheim.

Should be good games!

If Celtic turn up in Romania to play Astana it won't. Astana is in Kazakhstan mate
