Blackpool away at Wigan, won't be a big crowd and if Bowyer carries on with his negative tactics it won't be a great game.

Nothing like when we thrashed them in our first game of the Premier League oh so many years ago...

Could have been worse. Could travelled from Derby all the way up to Grimsby only to see the game being abandoned after 20 odd minutes

Well, we played two left backs, 3 wingers and a striker in midfield but by all accounts didn't do too badly. Still lost 2-1 but if our manager manages to put out a proper fucking team this season we may win a game. Not in the cup, now, though!

I am from the North West so everything more than one hour of travelling is like an away day in North Korea!

And as @Vercoe correctly pointed out, Grimsby smells like fish and is just very, very grim in general

Went there for the last game of last season and it truly was awful. Houses and buildings bordered up and there was a chav walking around with his trackie bottoms off and slung over his shoulder shouting absolute bollocks at everyone. Made me look forward to the 9 1/2 hour coach trip back tbf.

Also, try living in Cornwall, I've got an hours journey each way just to watch home games!

Lads in trackies giving it large are an essential part of the surroundings of football games around here, so can't really condemn that Strangely enough Grimsby doesn't even rank in my perosnal top three of absolutely crap away days in League Two, so there is that.

Saw quite a few Plymouth lads giving it on the Twitters and bigging this up as some sort of "derby" game. I quickly looked at a League One map and realized that Bristol is actually one of the nearer away days for the Plymouth lads Fecking hell, League One is a right mare of anyone from the south. Are you sure you don't want to try supporting a French team? Might be a bit less travelling involved

Tbf a lot of our fans on Twitter are fucking mongs. Although historically there's always been a bit of tension between us and Bristol City supposedly stemming from the 70s or whatever.

Yeah we're pretty fucked with travel this year, unless you're an Argyle fan living in the midlands in which case you're laughing.

Oi, listen up you small-timers! The BIG ONE is coming to your TV screens tonight, as we're hosting Sunderland at Gigg Lane The Energy Check Stadum at Gigg Lane (honestly, that's how it's called now thanks to a new sponsorship deal).

Should be a good game this. Think Sunderland looked decent vs. Derby last weekend, but I am interested to see whether Grayson plays around and makes a load of changes to mix things up. As for us, we don't have that luxury as we're having it quite badly with injuries atm. Lost Phil Edwards and Eoghan O'Connell due to long-term injuries in pre-season and now lost Jay O'Shea for a few weeks, with Danny Mayor and Nathan Cameron also out. I hope to see Harry Bunn in this, as he didn't feature last weekend due to admin stuff. Tsun Dai (who I've been raving about in the Lower League thread) should get a start, but other than that I don't know.

Fairly looking forward to this! (Inb4 1-4 walloping)

Well, is coming to your PC screens through an illegal stream is probably more accurate of the viewership!

Will you be there and will there be a way for us to spot you?

Yes sir, I shall be there! I will be the lad in the Stone Island gear and Reebok trainers looking for aggro with the stewards, setting off flares and smoke bombs, dabbing every time the action comes close to our end. Sadly, there is possibly no chance of recognition unless you know how I look. You might have to stop the picture and crawl through every pixel of your Romanian live stream whenever the cameras is showing a big picture of the crowd.

Random fact: We played Dale on Sky quite a long while ago (6 or 7 years dunno, only know we won 1-0 with Ryan Lowe scoring late), and it was freezing cold night so everybody was getting all cozy and shit. Two lads randomly decided to turn up as giant bananas. They were quite easy to spot tbf. However I shall not be reverting to such nihilstic tactics!

Completely forgot the draw was last night but Nottingham Forest at home should be a winnable tie . . .

. . . now watch us heavily rotate the squad and get duffed.

I lied, it was crap. Created nowt and one mistake at the back sealed it for them. Hopefully Stephen Dawson our skipper will be alright, that all that matters to me now. Apparently he only has lateral ligament injury, which wouldn't need an op, so that would be good for us and a lot less than I first feared when he went down. Looked horrible.

Glad we're missing out on a dull away day in Carlisle though

Good draws for Burton and Doncaster, don't see them going through but the cash will be welcome!

Burnley v Leeds, cue Wood scoring the decisive goal! Huddersfield visit Palace again too! I imagine the line ups will be very different to when they just met in the League though.

When are the games set to be played? Will West Ham be able to play at home then?

Made hard work of that. Rode our luck (Rotherham should have had a stick-on penalty when Whitehead did some wrestling and got away with it, and they missed a succession of chances I'd have buried on my wrong foot with my eyes closed). Hey ho, through we go.

Wasn't too bad in the first half but second he was terrible, i know he's not played every minute of every game but Liverpool's results since signing him has been awful.

Played 4 - Won 0 - Drew 2 - Lost 2 - For 3 - Against 10

Also just noticed that only 23826 watched Tottenham at Wembley last night, embarrassing.
