As far as I know this is the first time any Data Update for any version of FM has updated the age and contract of every single player in the game. So i'm very excited by this latest update.
- All players one year older
- All contracts one year shorter unless a transfer or new contract has been added
- All players last contract signed date aged by one year, so it's easier to buy players who moved last summer

Still, as it's FM17 I just prefer to use that database for now then wait for FM18 for an updated database. For example I'm starting a Monaco save but I want to use Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy etc as that squad is more exciting than what they have now.

Nope....this is after downloading the latest update from the below link for FM17 . I can see lukaku, matic and lindelof though

I guess yes, it's a problem since it will be very difficult to update every single players CA and PA.
I guess in theory we could increase every single players CA by a nominal amount, so choosing every single players CA manually will be too much work.
Possibly but would take a bit of work and it doesn't seem that worth it for what's mostly a cosmetic change.

Hi Rob, the latest data update still has depay and schniderin in man utd team. But i can see lukaku, matic and lindelof. is there some issue? the other team transfers are fine

Well then that's why it's not working, your version of Football Manager is not up to date. Pay for the game properly and it will be fine.

In the previous update there were also the following files: Promotions and relegation and General Changes.fmf.
Are they deleted?
The same for old files in the "Sortitoutsi Live Data Update?" Directory
