Arsenal: Cech, Debuchy, Holding, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Coquelin, Nelson, Willock, Wilshere, Giroud, Walcott

I'm sure the fans of both teams are loving that line up!

Hopefully Everton get a stadium ban and the stupid prick trying to punch players with his kid in his arms is never allowed into a stadium again. Williams should have been sent off also.

How on earth did he not get a red card for that?

Clearly, something is in a state of collapse around there. But seriously - the fuck was that fan doing?

What an upbringing that kid must have, doesn't stand a chance.

Think the 'fan' has been banned for life which is good to see.

Everton out already then and Arsenal bored their way through.

We've been the same in every game, just doing enough to get through. Very underwhelming.

OSTERSUNDS V ARSENAL

They're actually half decent, though should still beat them fairly easily even with the second team playing.

I still can't believe what I saw, Arsenal making it through a knockout round in Europe. Incredible

Arsenal get Atletico Madrid in the next round...If they win that then surely they will be favorites?

If Marseille win against Red Bull though, the final is in France (I think) and that could see them power on to win it.

I'm glad we got them as fed up with everyone saying how we HAVE to avoid them etc, yes they're a good side but I'm fairly certain they would have wanted to play one of the other sides rather than ourselves too, we're not that bad (yet). Plus Atletico haven't been great in Europe this year, they were absolutely awful in the CL group stage and only just beat Sporting in the last round. No we can't defend but we're currently the competitions top scorers and can beat (yes and lose to) anyone on our day. I'd have much preferred to play the home leg 2nd so just hope we can get a win without conceding in the first game.

Arsenal fucked up tonight.

Going to be very tough for them in the away leg.

Absolutely hammered them all game, should have scored at least 5 goals but as usual didn't and you could have called the mistake/late goal at half time after so many missed chances by us, just knew what was gonna happen. Same problems we've had for years and its a shame that ultimately the manager takes the blame.

One thing I will say is that or though I was obviously angry with the mistake I genuinly felt sad for the players at the final whistle due to them getting no reward for such a good perofrmance and It's the first time in years I've felt like that.

Just need to carry that performance into the second leg. It's a daunting task though with Atletico's recent defensive record at home, something like 7-8 games without conceding at home, but you've certainly got the players to unlock that defence. I think the important thing for Arsenal will be to remain patient, it's a 90 minute game, no need to go gung ho in the first 20-30 minutes of the game.

11 I think it is

Gonna be tough for Arsenal second leg but you never know. Would be good for Wenger to win a trophy in his final game as Arsenal manager.
