Your path for the video ads look different to the path needed (pic on FAQ on page 1) have a look at this again, do you have multiple hard drives?

Thanks for the info but still black video boards on both club and no club modes and the static boards around the stadium still working. I do not have multiple hard drives and one thing i did notice in the video folder there is two folders inside it hd & sd please see attachment, do i actually need both these folders? Thank you

Can you take a screenshot instead of a photo as its not very clear.

Can you also try deleting the content of the SD folder and copying the contents of the HD folder into it, this tends to work with older or lower spec systems

No problems for me.... all working great.... I was just pointing out for your next update that Sheffield United do not have any video ads assigned in the xml file.

the next video adboard I’ll be making has a rolling ball effect so I’ll make and post a tutorial on how this is done in photoshop and post it up by the end of the week hopefully

Tutorial No.2
Rolling Object

This tutorial will explain how to create the rolling effect below.


Step 1

To begin my image has 3 layers, Background, Taxi and Logo. In this image we want to apply the rolling effect to the Logo layer. To apply this sort of effect we need to make a Smart object to do this we right click on the Logo Layer and select the Convert to Smart Object option.

Step 2

Our next step is to create a beginning and end of the animation, this is done by dragging the timeline to the desired start point and selection the Transform option, this will give our logo a starting position. Next we move the timeline along and again select the Transform option, this now gives us an end position. At this point the Logo should be dragged to the desired end position

Step 3

At this point our logo travel's from one end of the D Taxis text to the other, now we want to add a rolling effect. This is achieved by moving the timeline along 00.05 and again selecting the Transform option, now we want to rotate the angle 180 degrees this is done by selecting; Edit > Transform > Rotate then typing 180 in the angle field.

Step 4

Repeat the above step every 0.05 seconds mixing between 180 and 0 degrees....0..180..0..180..0..180..0..180..0

Now we have the finished effect, if the image is going from right to left instead then angles would be 0 and -180

Do I use the same sized base image fer this one as the last 2816 x 88? please

Yes same size but each object you want to roll has to be a separate layer

your two tutorials are just perfect !
but unfortunately I can't create these video adboards ... I must be bad with photoshop but I really can't create them ...

Hey gents. Having some difficulty getting this to work. I'm pretty sure I've got everything in the right spot and have tried reloading skin, clearing cache, reloading the game etc and can't seem to get it to work. Any insight?

Leave them up on screen and re-read everything as you go, you'll get it
