Indeed. Install other skins and check. They're the same. All questions should be directed to the game publisher. If you find a place where this isn't present, ask the creator of that skin how to remove it.
How do you install a skin? For a Mac, you need to build it using SkinBuilder. You have different files. The UABEA folder and the files in the Packages folder aren't suitable for you. They're for Windows.

Update 02/04/2026: Several fixes, including interface color during 3D matches. All bullets created with UABEA are stored in a separate folder. This might be helpful for Mac users.

Yes, do whatever you want. People just don't want to use Skinbuilder. They want everything ready-made for any occasion. I can't imagine how they even live. You just have to press two buttons. I don't have a Mac, so I can't test the files.
