I am no good with Photoshop or any of those, I've tried and everything, many years ago. I played FM16 and now I have FM18. I would like to use 2016/2017 kits (and some mix) for Dortmund, Bayern and the kit Colombia used for World Cup 2014 because I don't like the new ones but FM18 doesn't show them and I guess is because of some changes I've noticed in the image files for kits: it seems like now the jerseys are on top of the template and not in the middle as in former ones.
I'd like to know if I am right and if so, I'd love if someone could made those three kits for me. I can use the other ones for the rest but please, this ones are special to me. Thanks in advance.

Third kit has Uhlsport's "dot matrix" pattern on the side of the shirt and shorts
This blog has a representation of it in 2D also

Yes, I have plans to do level 7 after I'm done with this part. I guess that will be near the FM 19 release, but who knows.

The easiest way would be to download 17/18 packs and then manually overwrite every kit with these new ones.
Or wait for full pack with config file included.

You actually have to add lines for promoted teams, Blackburn, Rotherham and Wigan.
Also keep in mind that Stoke, Swansea and WBA were relegated, so you need to copy them to Premier league 17/18 pack

When is the Championship pack likely to be released? Also, do I have to wait to start a new save in order to us 3D kits or can they be added into an old save?

You can add kits to existing save. However to change colours and add or delete 3rd kits you need in-game editor.
If that's to complicated, there's SSKCC file available on this site that fixes colours and 3rd kits made by Hammer who usually follows my releases by a week or so. Right now colours are sorted down to League one, so Championship is covered.
