FM18 Update not working :(

Sorry to bother you guys, and every other time I download updates it works first time, however I am struggling to get the latest to pull through, am I missing something?

I have put the .fmf in editor data (full path is correct) and removed older ones
I have cleared cache in game
I have reloaded skin
I have started new career

Yet it shows squads and team positions as of last summer....

Can anyone help or guide me?

At the risk of stating the obvious, the files in the data update are in .xml format not .fmf. Are you sure you've downloaded the right thing?

Sorry, i meant .xmf - i have downloaded the update from here, and just dropped the files in editor data.... yet I start a new career and nothing?!

Looks to be installed properly And can you load FM and take a screenshot of the screen just before starting a new game? (i.e. the one where you choose the countries and divisions you want to load)

I'm doing everything i usually do yet it doesn't appear to be working

Looks perfectly fine

A new version was released since we started this conversation; can you try loading a new one with it instead?

To be honest, the reloading cache and skin aren't strictly necessary. When you say it isn't working, do you mean none of the transfers are working or is there a particular one (or more) which aren't appearing?

The Stuart McCall to Scunthorpe move was only added around 20 mins ago, so that might be why it isn't appearing...

Everything isn't appearing, it is just showing things from when the game was purchased...

One thing maybe, i have noticed... where do you see what path it is pulling through from the files? as saved games aren't in the usual 'games' folder - so could it be using another folder to pull information through to the game?

The default user data folder on Macs is /Users/[Your Mac Username]/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2018/

If the editor data folder you showed me in your screenshot is not in this path, then it won't work...
