There's a lot of variables tbf,
David BrentBrendan Rodgers is a cock but he'll stabilise them if he's given time and although I don't think he'll win them league titles, he can certainly get them to the level of a consistent 5th placed team with a chance of 4th every year along with the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal. Then there's Suarez, if he leaves Liverpool are fucked, I don't see who they can get that will replace a player of his calibre but, I can't see where he will go to. No club in England will want him/need him, I can't see him going to Spain and I don't think the Italian teams can afford him (except Juventus, but they seem to be getting Llorente). That leaves you PSG or Bayern in the whole of Europe that could be a realistic destination, and I don't see that happening.

Fuck off Pardew.

He seems to score whenever he comes on, must wonder what he's gotta do to start a game.

I want him gone so i can like Newcastle again, only 7 years or so left...

I want to keep him however, stability is the way forward. As I said the other day imagine if Everton sacked Moyes when they finished 16th/17th after they'd qualified for Europe? They wouldn't be anywhere near what they are now without him.
We've played alright here - Reading have had 2 shots on target and scored them both. We completely bossed the first half.

Yes we've had injuries, yes we've had bad dealings in transfers, yes we seem to have no luck, but our tactics and substitutions are awful, and the players don't seem to have either the confidence or fitness to win any game and that is all down on Monsieur Pardew. Defeat to Villa and it's the end of the road.

I know, Pardew speaking sense for once.
The second half tactics and substitutions were absolutely dreadful, but they still weren't the biggest factor. Morons.

They should resign Lampard on the same terms too.

What?
It was more empty bluster hiding from the fact he got the big decisions wrong, and there wouldn't have been negativity if he hadn't made such stupid decisions. Again.
It also doesn't help his job security - if he comes up with bollocks like that, then more people will want him out the door. Defeat by Villa in 2 weeks - which looks likely given they're somehow winning - and he's finished.

I don't even like (and never have) Pardew, and I despise rhetoric about the crowd being the '12th man', but in SJP it's a poisonous atmosphere that erodes all confidence and composure, and leads to the conceding off soft goals and the inability to actually play well. Hopefully the crowds will drop and the performances will come back. They boo backwards passes ffs.
Plus I can't stand all the fair weather fans who backed Pardew last year and Ashley's transfer policy and acted all smug, and now complain all the time about them now.

Poe posted that on the last page.
1-2 now, Brunt.
