Those of you who've followed my stories before (it's been a while) will know that I usually do a lot of work very quickly, lose interest and/or go into some terrible form and then stop posting... and so I figure this is a good way to get back into writing saves up, as each one will have a maximum 1 season limit and will hopefully hold my interest long enough to complete it (I bloody hope so, given I'm one of the staff that helps put them together
As with last season, I intend to do all of our challenges, although that does depend on how much time work has me spending in hotels! It may serve as a gateway to me writing up an actual career (I do have some ideas in mind) but what it WILL serve as is a bit of a hint for you on our challenges - i.e. what NOT to do!

Our first 3 months have been a bit of a mixed bag, picking up some steady form in April and May. We currently sit just inside of the play-off places and haven't yet picked up any bonuses

Soooo this month wasn't so great. No points added - though Berbatov (possibly my worst signing in any FM!) did get his first goal after JUST 22 appearances...

Yeah, it seems you get a good run, but then fixture congestion kills your squad a little and you hit a dip, like the one I am in at the moment. Also cocked up with the number of internationals I had in the squad, so that hasn't helped me to keep the quality

This month also sucked. The form is atrocious and we drop out of the playoff places with 4 games to go!! This type of tragic end of season form appears to be my best trait on FM19

Kind of realised we needed cover at left back and a decent level striker... realised after signing Dzeko that I could have gotten Werner for the same price, but nevermind! Blame my scouts.
Results
Out of the CdR which is a bit embarrassing and takes the 10pts we have away from us. Drawing with Atletico and losing to Barca, means we don't pick up any rival points as yet either.

If it's any consolation I nearly bottled it against them - I believe I needed spot kicks to get past them after nearly bottling the second leg.
Sucks about Dzeko though.

Stop 2- March and April
Thank god for Bale's free-kicks! He really has been the best player in my save so far, scoring some really important goals and dominating a lot of teams OR rescuing us from the bench as I've tried to rest him as much as i can. His goals against Barca gave us 5pts, but also virtually handed the title to Atletico.
