I solved my problem! I finally have the static club banners and the video ads working on my MacBook with Medium graphics settings.
What I have done is to leave only one video ads folder in place. By default you have both the HD and SD folder in simatchviewer_uncompressed/videos

It seems FM can't decide which folder to use when you use Medium graphics. I simply renamed the HD folder to SD and removed the original SD folder. Now, the game recognizes the video ads from the HD folder and shows them with Medium graphics and because it's the only folder in simatchviewer_uncompressed/videos it also shows the club banners.

So far so good. FINALLY!

Thanks for the above, I've got both static and video adboards working now

I'm having a minor issue with the video adboards in that these are constantly stuck on the 'SkySports' adboard throughout PL games and then the first Europa League one during EL games. The adboards are working and the various animations happening (e.g. the Skysports one changes to say 'best place for PL football) but they never switch to the other video adboards in the folder such as BT, Premier League logo, Vitality etc.. or in the EL case the Amstel, fair play ones etc..

Anyone had anything similar? I'm not sure if it is an issue with how long the video adboards are set to display? I've even tried this through extended highlights and it'll still stay on the same adboard.

Sounds like an issue with your fm.xml in the ads folder and that it is only calling the one ad board. I suggest check that everything is located where it should be and the fm.xml

and then the video ads in their right location under steamapps etc...

It's got me stumped.

Read a few pages back, there's a fix for this sticking on the first aboard - some fella posted a file to download.

Yeah so the upper stands are club specific (for example, manutd.com, MUFC badge, adidas etc) then on the lower video boards that are around the pitch are competition specific, so in the CL it displays only CL, FA Cup displays only FA Cup etc

As it takes a lot of time to make them, and there only appears to be two of us making them, I wouldn't hold your breathe.

It can be done but you would need to play with generic league video ads instead of Man Utd video ads, I'll add this feature for all clubs to the "no club ads" xml file.
