This file will need to be re-applied if/when official patches/updates are released to ensure full compatibility. This is due to the fact that some files which are removed when installing this file are automatically re-installed by Steam when official patches come out.
Some of these changes, ESPECIALLY THE CLUB NAMES, may not apply in the Beta, FM Touch or in existing save-games. There's a workaround for that in the first post.
The sortitoutsi real names fix changes the instances of fake names in Football Manager 2019 to the proper, real life names for awards, cities, stadiums and competitions, in cases where the actual name is not licensed, such as Champions League, Europa League and Premier League displaying instead of EURO Cup, EURO Vase and Premier Division respectively. It will also fix the fact that the Japanese National teams don't call up real players and that the Bayern manager has a fake name. These are all fully save-game compatible.
There is also a club name changes file, which changes the names of clubs in a way which ensures that any nicknames entered in the default database are retained. This file includes the proper names for Brazilian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French clubs to circumvent licensing restrictions. It also adds real-life media and journalists, encompassing most major footballing nations and continents. Brazilian clubs' text colours are also changed through an editor data file. Finally, it includes a small file which corrects the 3-Letter competition names to correspond with any changes made in the lnc files. For all the files in this paragraph to work, however, you will need to start a new game.

Why are there 2 version of files (Club Name Changes - .fmf and .Inc)?
Is .fmf a compiled version of .Inc?
Why some files do have a "Susie Real Name Fixes" prefix and some don't?

I will rephrase my first question a bit - are club name changes same in .fmf and .Inc files?
If there's some club name change in the .Inc, does it mean that it also present in the .fmf, and vice versa?
If I want to check the current name in the fix for particular club, do I need to start an Editor/Game or can I just check the .Inc file in the Notepad?

What's in the fmf is also in the lnc. So you can check in either - it's obviously quicker to do so in the lnc though

Then it looks like you either didn't install it correctly or need to wait a little bit.
a) Make sure you re-apply the fix for each folder (i.e. 1900, 1901, 1910, 1930) because the fix needs to be in place for the version of the database with which you started the save game.
b) The German national team does not appear instantly but only when players are called up.
While I understand the potential attraction of such a file, it's not really something which I think is licensing-related or which should be part of this download. Besides, I'm not an expert in countries' transfer preferences so I'm definitely not in a position to create such a file myself. I think there are similar files online already so there's little point in another one being created just to be included in this download...
P.S. Thanks for the competition name change proposal; with the competition logos that you get to see, you're in a much better position than me to get to know any changes, so I very much appreciate you posting them
